I have always placed a very strong emphasis on the solo aspect of the double bass. I can help establish a well-rounded knowledge of the instrument and a strong musical understanding. Having performed recitals in leading concert halls including, the Wigmore Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall, I have a wealth of experience from which to draw.
Depending on your level, lessons will consist of building a solid technique covering all aspects and ranges of the instrument. Exercises that will establish a secure left hand, good bow control along with a strong emphasis on musicality.
