Learn English with Elizabeth! I currently teach Functional Skills English L1-L2, GCSE English Language and English Literature and have previous experience of teaching ESOL from pre-entry to E3! Additi

Methodology

As I also work in a therapeutic environment, I work with a very holistic approach. Overall, I am versatile and encourage learners to explore a range of learning strategies and techniques that enable them to enjoy and store new content and information.

Additionally, I try to vary sessions so that there is a range of auditory, visual and kinaesthetic learning and so that learners are able to spend time discussing their ideas but also being provided with opportunities to exercise their skills independently.

Experience

I currently teach Functional Skills English Level 1 - Level 2, GCSE English Language and Literature, plus art at an academy in Shropshire.

Previously, I have worked in a range of institutions such as colleges, an independent training provider and two prisons teaching Functional Skills English and ESOL.

At present, I am teaching adolescents and developing my knowledge of the GCSE English curriculum.
