About Colin
I’ve been playing guitar for almost six years now, and I’ve enjoyed every second of it! Since I couldn’t afford lessons, I taught myself and picked up unique tricks you won’t find just anywhere. I love sharing what I’ve learned and helping people express themselves in ways they never thought possible. I truly believe anyone can master an instrument with enough passion and a willingness to learn. My approach is all about your pace—I’ll make sure you enjoy the journey because that’s what matters most. We’ll start by assessing your current skill level (even if it’s zero!) and build from there. Age and confidence don’t matter—everyone starts somewhere, and the fact that you’re trying is already impressive!

First, I’ll assess where you’re at right now—whether you’re an intermediate player or have never touched a guitar in your life—and then we’ll chart your path forward. I’ll be patient, keep things fun, and ensure a stress-free experience. My teaching style isn’t traditional; I focus on challenging your creative side more than the technical.
I believe music should feel natural, so you can bring your own flavor and energy into the world. My goal is to help you uncover the unique musical voice you never knew you had! Many of my past students have developed skills or traits you won’t find anywhere else—and that’s why I love teaching. To me, creation is one of the most beautiful things a human can do.
