Lessons are 45-60 mins long and take place at my home studio.
Each lesson consists of:
- Initial body and vocal warm-up
- Vocal technique exercises
- Repertoire building and performance
Each session will be tailored to your needs, either if you are a beginner and want to start exploring your passion for singing or if you have already taken some lessons but want to step up to your next level.
Irene has been working with children, teenagers and young adults for more than a decade. Her love for music has led her to obtain a First Class Honours Degree in Music Industry Practice from the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, where she specialised in Contemporary Vocal Technique and Performance.
Irene spends most of her free time, reading, studying, researching and attending courses and workshops in order to fulfil her dream to work in the music industry full time. She believes that getting to know your voice is a big step towards knowing yourself and learning how your voice works and how you can manipulate it is an extremely fascinating process.
Teaching in Singing
Irene teaches vocals from beginners to advanced (undergraduate) students ages 7 and up. Her main goal is to teach students the foundation of a solid, healthy vocal technique as well as guide them in the discovery of their inner artistry and in the development of their confidence as performers.
She can also help with the preparation of Rockschool Contemporary Graded Exams (level 1 to 8).
Price may vary according to the duration of the lesson.
Irene is currently working full-time as Sixth Form Student Mentor in a secondary school based in London offering guidance and pastoral care to students aged 15-19, as well as one to one and group singing lessons. She is a singer – songwriter, who recently achieved a first honours degree in Music Industry Practice, specialising in Vocal Performance. She previously studied in Italy and obtained a Degree and a Master’s Degree in Mathematics.
Her passion for Music, Maths and Education has shaped her personality and her outlook on life which she constantly tries to live with energy and enthusiasm.
