I have studied International Baccalaureate (IBDP) with 43/45 overall, with Mathematics, Physics, and Economics at higher level (all level 7/7). I like to teach by first principles, that is, explaining clearly the underlying principle and mathematical relationship so that the student will gain an intuitive understanding of the concept before having to memorise equations and methods.
I have taught IB students (roughly equivalent in difficulty to A-levels) math and physics last summer, with one of them experiencing a dramatic improvement from level 3 to 5 in math. I have also taught an undergraduate veterinary science student for a module in her degree named "introductory physics for biologists". I have also helped a student prepare for the math and physics parts of her flight school entrance exams.
