I tailor my lesson plans around your needs and your preferred ways of learning . This is often carried out initially by communicating with you and assessing your level of competency in the subject.
I also approach every student with the believe that there is not just one way of teaching where the teacher is always correct. Tutoring is team work between myself and my students and together we work to find different methods of deriving to an answer or conclusion.
As an assistant teacher, I have worked in both primary, secondary and sixth form schools where I have been responsible for teaching a classroom of 30 pupils independently on numerous occasions. I have delivered lessons in various topics such as Maths, English, science, history etc. I also have knowledge of marking and delivering feedback.
My 3 words? Believe, determination, Knowledge. What are the three words that best describes you?
I believe that with Determination, Believing in yourself and a thirst for knowledge, you can achieve anything not just academically but in your personal life as well.
I am a teaching assistant/home tutor/business graduate.I am passionate about learning and passing on knowledge and I approach every single student with an open mindset. From my experience of not just working in education but being a student myself, I understand that every learner is different and we all learn and respond in different ways.
Through all of my experiences, I have come to realize that the most important aspect of a tutor and student relationship is the ability to listen to each other, include fun aspects to our lessons and build confidence in order to help the learner become independent.
