My teaching method varies depending on the student, i am very much get up an do then improve on technique and other sections you may struggle with.
My teaching methodology is based on my previous experiences and trying to create my own method, mixing all my backgroun and the methods i mostly prefer
I base my classes on developing your acting skill and building the type of actor that you want to/can be. I will start by guiding you on how to achieve your goals be either setting them first or demonizing the steps on how to become great at your craft.
I first have an informal chat with you on where you feel you are at.
My teaching method is to offer readings, theory and practical methods which I have gained experience through studying modules on different theatre techniques to broaden the students knowledge on acting and essay writing

The most important thing in drama is to make the lessons fun it’s not all about learning the script word to word
My methods include working on self, physicality, confidence and trust. We ease our way into introductory sessions, by learning about our own characteristics before studying influential techniques and how we can personalise strategies to suit individual preferences.
My teaching method is to encourage creativity and and confidence whilst exploring different styles and genres of acting. I encourage students to step out of their comfort zone and have fun through acting.
I aim to create a fun and supportive environment in which students are motivated to develop and do their best whether for examinations or drama school entry. For younger students my approach is games based but with a view to success in examinations. For older students my approach includes gentle voice techniques, and experimenting with the text.
My teaching method is practical based and hands on, I believe people especially performers, learn by doing. I approach tasks in an abstract setting. I believe in a well versed actor, meaning I would explore classical and contemporary texts as well as improvisational activities to be the best performer.
My teaching method will be script writing on everything and performing on stage and we be sometimes do monolouges as if yoh are in that situation
To engage and excite younger pupils into finding confidence with text and finding comfort on stage, harbouring natural instincts and talent.
The first lesson with a new student would always be to set out clear goals that we would like to achieve. For example, get to Grade 6 in LAMDA (Acting) Examinations or work on Audition Technique. Lessons I offer include but are not limited to: voice and movement work, acting through song, improvisation techniques, monologue work and audition preparation.
Lesson structure : 1) Vocal warm ups 2) Body warm ups 3) Script reading 4) New skill 5) Practice the new skill 6) Review the lesson If the students have any issues or ideas , they can give ideas for the future lessons or talk about any absences in future lessons .
I teach in a very visual way. I ask my students to prepare a piece and I am able to give them pointers.

Each session is catered to a persons skill set. I look at what experience level we are working with, maybe this is your first try, I would be excited to go on a discovery with you. Maybe you are auditioning for drama school, or even a school production and you want some direction and expertise.
While still at school, I realised that I had this creative streak within which motivated me to organise a Talent show at the school. It was great fun for all those taking part and the audience! I went on to study Dramatic Arts at college, alongside Professional Studies. I became a primary teacher, teaching core curriculum, but I have always included Drama in my teaching.
I am a working musical theatre performer offering one to one lessons in dance and performing arts tuition. My aim as a tutor is to work on technique and confidence with a strong focus on making performance fun and enjoyable.
I will always begin session by helping you find a good base from which to perform, starting with the breath and the voice and posture - then build the piece and the character from there. I have session which can be delivered as a single lesson or ones which can build over a number of weeks depending on what your target is.
