I like to get know the performer and start to build up a profile. I work thoroughly on posture, vocal ability and Acting technique. I teach in stages: Stage 1 - we will spend the first 15 minutes working on posture, by doing simple exercises to decrease slouching and increase spinal support.
Lessons can be catered to the individual student's needs and interest. Be it drama school entry, role preparation or simply confidence building. I have experience with physical theatre (Laban, Viewpoints) as well as a more Stanislavski based method. I am also familiar with Keith Johnstones improvisation techniques.
