I am a college student from China. I am good at chemistry and I always got full marks in the past. I would like to give lessons to secondary students. I will try my best to help you solve the problems and discuss them.
Using my experience with University and A-level levels of Maths and Physics, I undertsand how difficult it can be to follow certain concepts. My lessons will be in a laid back atmosphere with little pressure to allow the students to feel as comfortable as possible, as I believe this allows them to achieve their full potential quicker.
My lessons are for beginners and intermediate players, both kids and adults. I can prepare every lesson individually. It depends on you if you want to play technical exercises, songs by your choice or help with music theory.
Work in a group teaching small things at a time then, I would use strategies such as using specific words or a topic and take the lesson breaking it down into each category. For example nails take one lesson on each nail condition, the nail description each part of the nail and what it's purpose is etc.
For GCSE & A-Levels, I teach the way I studied myself - take the syllabus from the qualification provider's website, and make sure each and every point is understood. I like to make use of interactive teaching methods, including the use of videos, games, and powerpoints to aid in understanding.
I am an academic psychologist, having obtained a PhD in Psychology and a First Class Honours degree in Psychology from Queen's University Belfast. I have conducted statistics tutorials with psychology students.
I have many different methods.. As not every method has the same effect on all people.. after I meet the person I can then decide the best approach. I like to get to know clients on an individual relationship and get to know them as a person so they Devlop the best results possible from my lessons.
I give feedback and structure lessons based on the student's progress and the curriculum if present. I also tackle topics they find the most challenging and allow them to achieve their potential. If the course/diploma the student is pursuing does not provide a curriculum, I will structure one myself based on his objectives and interests.
I always adapt myself to the students. I find their centre of interests, what they like and would teach from what they can easily understand. Everybody have in their minds, existing patterns in various fields. My approach will be to reach my students on their own patterns with Q/A and establish a common ground where they can learn to speak and write French "en douceur".
1.The idea of my curriculum design is that there are 5-8 keywords in each topic, and these words are connected into a paragraph to express whole views. 2.The abstract definition is transformed into concrete image by means of assistant means such as object, picture, table, sketch, symbol, formula and so on. 3.
As this is a slightly difficult form of music, the first few sessions will be aimed at familiarization of 'Swaras' and focus on singing in correct pitch and understanding the genre of music. Theory classes will be 10% only explaining details of each 'Ragas' . The teaching atmosphere will be very friendly and students can ask for repetition of any items multiple times.
Each week you will learn a new skill, be given exercises to practise and taught how to play your favourite songs. Depending on the difficulty of the song, you can choose which songs you learn. Lesson times are flexible and home visits are available.
I like to break down a general topic into manageable lessons. Each lesson will explore a particular section of the general topic (Religion in the Medieval Period - Lesson One; Exploring the role of the Church throughout Europe. Lesson Two; Relationship between Church and State etc.
My approach is centred on communication between myself and my client. I like to dedicate time to each person to understand them wholly and create an open relationship.
I base my English lessons on my own experiences with my English exams and I focus on making the content of my lessons fit the mark scheme of the examination board. Also as English can be quite subjective I like to make sure the student is analysing and writing about things which they enjoy so that they are maximising the amount of marks they gain.
I base my teaching on the notes given by my teachers, revision books, and text books that I found helpful and ones that I have used to teach others. I also make my own revision booklets and worksheets to supplement my students' learning.
My teaching is very much based on my own learning path, using the tricks and methods I've discovered over the past 12 years of learning French. Content will be based on your preferences and needs, going at your pace of learning.
