I am a university student in QUB, studying drama and theatre. I have completed ten GCSE's and four A levels, all grade C or above and have a passion for innovitave and dynamic teaching. I went to Assumption Grammar school where my drama teacher often asked me to create lesson plans and teach students at GCSE and A level, when she was engaged in other activities.

My speciality is in A Level history, having recently completed it myself; each lesson will give you all the knowledge you will need on a certain topic and a chance to put it into practice with an exam style question to ensure you both absorb the facts, but also can analyse it during an exam.

I always carry out an assessment with every new child I tutor. From this assessment I assess what areas need to be covered or what we need to work on. The approach I use also depends on the individual child.
I would approach my student by first making sure whether they are willing to learn Chinese characters, as this would require much more hard work. Then I would ask what is their purpose of learning (business, travel) and would ask if they are interested in learning about Chinese culture along with the language.
