I tailor teaching to meet my students individual needs and goals. I guide students through theories and research to help them reach their academic and vocational goals.
My teaching method is every child learns at their own pace and in their own way. I use a variety of strategies and methods to enable children to gain confidence and ownership over their learning, while also striving to make each session enjoyable.
I always carry out an assessment with every new child I tutor. From this assessment I assess what areas need to be covered or what we need to work on. The approach I use also depends on the individual child.
I would approach my student by first making sure whether they are willing to learn Chinese characters, as this would require much more hard work. Then I would ask what is their purpose of learning (business, travel) and would ask if they are interested in learning about Chinese culture along with the language.
I am a 19 year old Fine Art student with a passion for languages and the passing of knowledge. I give lessons to children of all ages and teenagers up to A level. When it comes to teaching methods I start off with a simple analysis of the student’s current abilities and I adopt different approaches accordingly.
My teaching method is The demonstrator, based in showing students what they need to know. The demonstrator is a lot like the lecturer, but their lessons include multimedia presentations, activities, and demonstrations.

My teaching method is take it at each individual child's pace and not to rush them onto the next stage without them understanding what we are doing. To make them feel proud and confident in their work.
I base my classes on you and how you feel and want to do and I'll work around that area
I like to start broad then get into the nitty gritty. It’s always important to set learning objectives and evaluate if they have been met.
I like to break lessons down into manageable parts for the student. I am aware that all students learn in different ways and differing speeds, so lessons need to be tailored to the individual or group.
I am an A-level student so I do understand the stresses of school and can sympathise to a degree with students, I would prefer to tutor students at GCSE level as I gained quite a bit of experience at this level myself. I am stern when needed and lenient when needed, I am kind, passionate about this subject and willing to adapt to others needs and requirements.
My teaching method is providing video tutorials and revision notes (detailed summaries).
My method of learning would be spoken and written 50 and 50, it achieves the best results.
I focus on knowing your background an understanding for each elements to help you implement each piece of knowledge and know what you are doing.
My teaching ethos includes making learning as effective and simple as possible. It's really about creating a rapport between the tutor and the student, and listening to what the student needs. Every student learns through different techniques, and have been a student myself I understand all the variations.
I adopt a relaxed consultative teaching style adapting to the needs and learning style of the student. Since there are many ages and abilities it is important to be flexible in approach and methodology.
First of all we can throw out those textbooks, we’ll learn via fun activities and through using french in everyday things
Newly qualified History teacher from Belfast. Studied at St. Mary’s University College and dedicated to teaching Modern History at GCSE and A-Level.
My methodology is that nothing is too hard to learn if you break it down I to small pieces! Focus on one thing at a time and get to grips with its meaning. I would like to offer support for someone to learn how to learn themselves.
I start with the basics. Each student is different and for that reason my methodology might change. I try to make the classes interesting and productive, where both my tutee and I can enjoy learning Spanish. It is importat for me to create a good atmosphere to work.
There is not one method that is suited for all children. After meeting the child, I will figure out what is the best way to engage them in their learning and how will they achieve the best they possibly can.
I am an easy going, patient person with a love of helping others.
My teaching method is active learning, I also deliver the content of the subject and my lessons are pupil lead. My aim is to make learning as engaging and interesting as possible.
I love practical learning and know that doing is the best way to learn.
My teaching method is interactive and fun as I try to figure out which areas you have difficulties in , I will use diagrams to help explain different topics to students and will help students to understand information given rather than memorise it.
Lessons for GCSE and A-level are held in a similar manner with most students making similar mistakes. Methods of memorizing key details will be shared as well as help constructing compelling arguments and ways to validate points made. Furthermore, steps will be taken to ensure that students understood the lessons message and how it can be implemented elsewhere.
