I believe I am a responsible and capable tutor as I combine my passion for science with teaching, focusing on students` strengths when studying and at the same time signalling areas of improvement helping them to see mathematics as an enjoyable subject referring back to real-life examples, transforming a theoretical subject into a more practical and fascinating field.
I am a Secondary Maths teacher who specialises in inspiring students to not only pass Maths exams, but also see the prospects of their knowledge in Maths.
I give lessons to a variety of students such as those studying for their 11+ exams as well as those studying for their GCSE's and A-Levels. The structure of my lessons are based on the individual student and what they are currently struggling with and what needs improvement.
Being a younger tutor I am able to relate to students and this stronger relationship will correlate with stronger results and outcomes. I work from the students appropriate specification using traditional methods of teaching to embed information into the long term memory. Coming for the award winning and best free school in Bradford; Dixons Trinity I have Picked up on expert methods.
My aim as a tutor, is not only to develop understanding, but to offer advice on exam technique and to increase student confidence. I have tutored a large number of students during a one to one setting and group sessions. Revision plans are tailored to each student. My approach varies depending on the student as all have different needs and learning styles.

Teaching for me is a lifelong learning process which will remain with me for the rest of my life. Through teaching a teacher also grows as I have. Teaching has taught me how to use different strategies to suit the individual student, how all students have different needs, goals, and aspirations.
I use a variety of methods depending upon the situation and how individual students learn. I encourage students to use different ways to learn, whilst adapting my teaching according to what helps them to make progress. I have found that it often helps for students to work out how they want to use my time rather than be passive learners.
My teaching methodology is based on certain principles:-1 1. First lesson is for familiarisation with students and get to know their expectations and to build confidence. 2. Systematic approach to each topic student needs to learn with focus on exam-type of questions, marking scheme and any other student requirement. 3. Homework to encourage independent study and build student confidence.
Each discipline is designed around the client or students needs. I specialise in mentoring and training in both practical and academic solutions. Life experience is a valuable part of the process and also I demonstrate how to deal with daily tasks and situations as they occur.
The way lessons would go is I would first test the student to see his / her knowledge of the subject, then start with their strength points, next we branch from there covering all the related skills. It is less painful and a much more enjoyable process.
My name is Nabila and I am a Law graduate. I am giving online lessons to Undergraduate Law students and for those studying A Level Psychology and GCSE English and Science. I will also be happy to help students with exam revision and will pass on tips and techniques to help them achieve the best grades, which I know worked for me and for my students.
I like to keep my lessons relaxed, so the students feel comfortable to ask questions and give everything the best they can. If a student has a specific topic they want to cover, I will plan work for us to go through or cover work they have from school/university. If the student doesn’t understand the topic, I can always think of a different way to tackle it.
I am a easily approachable person who will always listen to the needs of the student and advise on the realities of that choice, I will always look for the best ways for the students to achieve their goals and succeed in life.
I enjoy teaching Psychology as it allows students to think outside of the box. Although different students learn at different paces, I make sure that I am always on the same page as them and will always work at their pace, to help them as well as challenge them.
Firstly I assess students to see which level they are at and which areas they may require more support. I always differentiate my lessons according to the requirements of the individual.
Depending on the requirements of a client, different methods will be undertaken going from a gym environment (body improvement) to knowledge teaching by sitting down in a classroom ( e.g.nutrition). Outside can also be used if aerobic and anaerobic work is required. Field work also depending on the sport.

I believe in the saying that interest promotes learning. As such I always try boost my students interest in the subject area. I always treat my students on an individual case, as I know that students have different problems with regards to learning. I build my lessons from understanding of students peculiar needs which when addressed will surely improve their performance.
Usually i like to help students understand certain subjects or certain things in a certain subject by moulding around them and try to see what they understand and what they need help on. I like to hint the answer to the students, rather than giving them the answer and slowly building up that students knowledge.
I like to show the real world applications of the topics you are studying, hopefully giving you a real appreciation for the subject. I can be flexible and teach by either problem solving, lecturing or active tasks. I have many resources from schools and will give you tailored work to reach your full potential.
when i teach i show the student the fun side of what they're doing and the simplicity and elegance of it. this helps them to understand the roots of the topic and therefore tackle any question thrown their way, i usually teach A level students as I know a levels can be tough at first but after they understand what they are doing they are completely fine.
I believe it is vital to engage students in the learning process. I ensure I select a style that addresses the needs of diverse students at different learning levels. I begin with a personal inventory—a self-evaluation—of the student's strengths and weaknesses and I then develop my teaching styles and integrate them with effective classroom management skills.
