I am passionate about teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals. My journey into tutoring started when I started scheduling for other students; I have conducted personal training for colleagues and juniors alike I love passing my experience and knowledge in management, programming, networking etc. to other students and everyone interested in learning something new.
I use a variety of methods depending upon the situation and how individual students learn. I encourage students to use different ways to learn, whilst adapting my teaching according to what helps them to make progress. I have found that it often helps for students to work out how they want to use my time rather than be passive learners.
Each discipline is designed around the client or students needs. I specialise in mentoring and training in both practical and academic solutions. Life experience is a valuable part of the process and also I demonstrate how to deal with daily tasks and situations as they occur.
My teaching method is quite simple. I teach by making notes, headings, summarizing and simplifying the information so that it would be easy for student to understand and learn. I can give lesson to school, college and university students. My aim is to make sure the concept is clear to student and thus would be super easy for student to learn.
I give lesson to anyone in primary school-sixthform/college students. However, I have a unique style of teaching based on more practical questions and going through a chosen topic that a student would like to know more about.
I am a easily approachable person who will always listen to the needs of the student and advise on the realities of that choice, I will always look for the best ways for the students to achieve their goals and succeed in life.
My classes are based on what the student already knows and what the student aims to achieve by the end of the session.
I tutor based on learning to be more fluent in the Spanish language, and can also teach native Spanish speakers conversational and advanced English. Although I have not done Spanish or English at A Level, I am at a fluent level in English and Intermediate level in Spanish.
My teaching plans are tailored to the individuals need as all learners are unique. I am able to assess the learners needs and implement these needs into my teaching. Motivation, focus and a willingness to achieve are key areas i stress upon.
My teaching method is a student-centered instruction which focuses on skills and practices that enable independent problem-solving. My primary goal is to keep students engaged and interested; I always encourage my students to ask questions.
I tutor for English GSCE, I base my methods and lessons of the current topic lessons of the individual I am tutoring.
At the beginning of every lesson i like to do starters based on previous lessons to help with remembering what was previously taught.
I believe tutoring needs to be personal - whilst 1 to 1 is best - class teaching allows for discussion and further learning. I believe having a set agenda makes learning simple and constructive to follow. I am a firm believer in learning should be fun, making it fun and enjoyable makes it easier to remember and learn.
Friendly and down to earth with a pinch of humour thrown in. My lessons will be engaging and supportive and will tackle all aspects of geography. I can look at essays or go through some exam practice. The student is at the heart of the learning and will lead the lesson to areas in which they feel they need extra study support with.
I am currently teaching at a school in Leeds. I have experience teaching all year groups and abilities all the way to year 11 top set.
I am a young and professional person that will set a high standard from the beginning, this would work both from myself as a tutor but also what I expect of those that I tutor. I am currently still in my first year of A-Levels, but have learned from some of the best teachers I have which allowed me to achieve great grades at GCSE level.
I have a high grade B in GCSE maths and understand AS level Maths (OCR MEI) really well. I just finished my A2 exams and you'd think that i've had enough of it but I enjoy AS level maths. With my AS knowledge I can help GCSE students with the new spec. I am a patient teacher and lessons will go at students' paces. I can help students grasp mathematical concepts.
From a very young age, I developed an interest in money management and the skills needed to do this; I enjoyed saving money in a piggy bank to help purchase a new toy. Also, playing the role of ‘shop lady’ fulfilled my desire of handling money and running a business. Reflecting upon this now, this enabled me to visualise how maths plays an important role in day to day life.
I pay attention to detail and approach each person as an individual. I tailor my lessons to the listeners level and use practical, everyday, real-life examples that the listener can relate to. I like to also be enthusiastic and use humour to help enforce difficult concepts.
I try to really adapt my lessons to the public: these lessons must be useful to you. So, if grammar is the main problem, let's tackle with grammar! On the other hand, if you want to get more fluidity in your oral expression, we will work on it. I usually assign many homework and you will do as much as you can: I deeply think than written expression is essential and too much forgotten.
My teaching method is totally child-centered. At first i explain the whole topic, i tell them to read again and ask if they have any doubt.I prefer to give total freedom to my students to express their own imagination and thinking about each topic.Teaching is a process of learning,so i tell them to explain it as if they are teachers.
I will base my lessons according to what learning methods suit the pupil as I understand different people learn in different ways. I am also able to provide revision techniques and notes. I understand the pressure pupils are under during these difficult years so I won't rush my teaching as the pupils' welfare and mental health is just an important.
i am a chemical engineer by profession, and i can teach maths, chemistry up to A level, i will deliver lectures online and at the end of each lectures notes (solution ) will be forwarded to the student, mock exam test will be conducted after each chapter to achieve best results.
I would look at the individual needs and personality of each child and adapt the material to cater to that. Each of my children has a unique personality which has taught me to value differences and learn how to adapt to each new challenge.
My teaching method is based on the student i teach. Every student had a different way of understanding things thus putting concepts in simpler term for them is key. I have given lesson to primary school students all the way up to university student. I am a very patient and result oriented tutor, who strives to not only teach for passing but understanding.
I like to teach through practical workshops, getting you to understand the principles behind each topic, and then putting them to practice right away. If you have current projects you're working on, I can tailor the lessons to these, so you get the most out of your lessons.
I base my lessons on what syllabus and curriculum you need to learn in preparation for your exams. I'm very open and would start with your weakest point, or what you consider to be difficult and focus on that. I usually can teach what was set in the full hour, however if it goes overtime i don't charge and won't leave until you've learned what you must.
I am a student that is currently at GCSE level of education and I would like to tutor the subjects that I excel in the most and that which makes the students' lives much better and make it easier for them.
After an initial conversation, I will be able to assess your strength and weakness. If there is a particular area you are struggling on, don't worry, we can focus on that. I believe in the concept, practice makes perfect. So the only way we can understand a subject, is first understanding the basis and then practise, practise, practise.
