I’m looking to help middle school and highschool students to get better marks for their exam by helping them getting ready for test and also gave them a large range of new vocabulary.
I like to break things to down into sections, starting with the topic the student finds most difficult. I find that in order to tackle a problem, practice is key and so I will have practice questions always available to do ranging from easier to more difficult questions. I'm personally a visual learner and prefer to teach in such a way but am flexible in the methods I am able to use.
I chose one-to-one tutoring as I believe every person learns differently - I base my classes on each students' learning method preferences. I offer maths classes up to university level. I can help with preparing for tests, exams or just help prepare homework.
My teaching methodology is being creative in the way I teach. I have just recently done my GCSEs and A levels so I have lots of experience in dealing with the stress and pressure of exams and how to approach the exams.
Private Sessions focussing on developing individual skills and decision making on the basketball court. If you want to improve and progress to the next step (whether that is local or nation league) as a basketball player, I can help. Want to become a better defensive player and rebounder, or maybe you want to expand your offensive skills.
I tailor lindividual lessons for my students. Each lesson will have a recap/test, some fretboard knowledge and applied theory. My students like having a split lesson - they can learn/tweak certain guitar techniques, expand their own playing and applying it to a song/tune at the end of each lesson.
I have a successful track record while undergoing Internal Verification and External Verification. I am a former South West ‘Regional Tutor of the Year’ for Premier Training International. I have been involved in course development and developed and wrote a Medicine Ball Training CPD course. I have written for FitPro magazine and presented at a R.E.P’s conference in Wales.
I attempt to teach the tips on the four different sections that are present in the IELTS and then test the students regularly. For example, with the reading and writing section, I would give the students the tips on how to approach the different types of reading questions and then ask them to adapt those techniques into the answering section to see the outcome.
I base my classes on a clear and logical structure and ensure that each student comes away with a set of clear learnings from the lesson and clear notes to use for revision.
My teaching experience began with my own curiosity as a learner. I saw the range of influence teachers had on different students and always felt an itch to give others the same. Now as a teacher, I find the work extremely gratifying as I give my students the opportunity to grow their own curiosity for the subject at hand, and/or the world at large.
I approach each pupil as an individual and tailor lessons to their exact needs. I focus on particular topics they struggle with, questions they find difficult and ideas that haven’t been explained in the best way at school or college.
My teaching method is hands on and highly personalised. Will go through any questions you might have and give you in depth feedback on your work as well as progression. I am also a big believer in using real life examples to explain and understand key theories.
Typical lesson plan: 1. Review exercise questions that students attempted at home 2. Teach a new chapter/ concept using simple explanation and graphs 3. Answer any questions students have on the topic 4. Work on some exercise questions together and understand what the examiners want 5.
You will be immersed in a very relaxing, inspiring and encouraging environment, with much attention paid to pratical application. The course objective, structure, content and syllabus will be personalized based on your level and purpose.

For maths, my approach is to target the student's weaknesses before going through the methodology to answer such questions. I go at the rate required for each individual student, ensuring they understand before moving on. I have a knack for breaking down complex matters into simpler explanations.
As a teacher I aim to encourage each and every child to excel and have fun! I pay very close attention to how each unique pupil learns and what makes them tick! I adapt my lessons accordingly so I can provide them with the best, most engaging and worthwhile learning experience that I can. I have a very holistic teaching method, I like to incorporate all learning styles into each of my lessons.
My teaching method generally involves lecturing with specific examples and real world application, attempting to enchants understanding in the student by having them repeat conceptual information back in their own words. I am a firm believer that deep conceptual understanding leads to better grades than rote learning.
My teaching methodology depends on each student. I discuss their needs with them and do conversation, grammar, writing, reading and listening exercises depending on their strengths and weaknesses. At the end of each lesson I can adapt the next lesson according to how things went.
My classes are intended for beginner to intermediate users looking to learn basic computing skills, PC maintenance and how to upgrade or build a PC from scratch. When I teach I am methodical; I deconstruct the mark scheme and syllabus to tailor-make teaching sessions that are insightful and which target key areas of learning. I'm not only a good speaker but also I understand the importance of listening to students; understanding their needs and working with them to achieve their goals.
