I, like many young adults, had spent my entire life searching for happiness, but what I didn't realise was that I was looking in the wrong places! Have you ever said the words "I'll be happy when..." - I have a car. - I have graduated. - I have a job. - I have got a promotion. - I have earned more than '£xxxxxx' amount. - I have moved out. - I have purchased a house.
I am a big believer in analogies. Once I find a fitting analogy that makes sense to my student I can make the most complex of topics fun, engaging and easily understood! All while keeping a close eye on the curriculum to ensure relevance.
I begin with the knowledge of the level my students are currently based on, ie, grades and writing capability. From there onwards, it sets a good rooted foundation of the topics that may simply be revised over and topics that of which require a lot more attention towards.
My teaching style is friendly and interactive. My aim is to consolidate a strong foundation of knowledge and build the self-esteem of the students. I will adapt the structure of my teaching to fit the learning style of the student.
I give lessons up to GCSE level and I am able to help with homework and answer questions. I am very patient and will do my best to understand what the student already knows and explain things in the clearest way.
My teaching method will vary on what skill you want to learn, whether art history is required or just techniques. I can tutor any level from hobbyist to student. I can teach through example, presentation, or advice. I have a calm approach based around wants and needs of the student and pressure is only applied to technique if thats the goals of the student. If not in can be abstract.
I will teach students up to GCSE level, as I am very confident with the grammar and vocabulary at this level. My approach is that students tell me what they find most difficult and we then go from there. An initial explanation is the first step, perhaps with visual, colourful aids.
I base my teaching around a relaxed approach where we break down the subjects into easier to remember chunks to help you learn and remember .
.My classes combine a mixed-skills approach, combining reading, writing, grammar, speaking and listening .Classes tailored to your perosnal needs, goals and interests .A variety of games activities to prevent boredom .Frequent oral practice .Regular assessment of progress .
I'd like to offer my help to any student working at a pre-undergraduate level (i.e GCSE & A-Level, BTEC, primary and secondary). My tutoring is completely based on the individual; after talking with you and highlighting what you're struggling with, I'd work around your needs and directly tackle the areas which could be improved, all in a super relaxed environment.
My teaching will primarily focus on helping students pass their examinations with the bare minimum number of classes with me. I aim to do that by giving them a comprehensive list of cases and laws relevant to a particular chapter and help them understand it so that they are well equipped for exams.
My lesson plans are tailored to the student's necessities and goals, so each lesson is personalised. I usually focus in grammar which, especially in English, is the key to understand the language. But I intend to introduce and explore some vocabulary while studying grammar.
I base my classes on interacting with authentic German-language sources such as stories, videos, articles and news broadcasts. I place a lot of focus on speaking, with the aim to improve students' confidence and oral ability. I offer lessons to anyone up to A-Level standard who is looking to improve their written and spoken German as well as aural and reading comprehension skills.
I am a graduated illustrator working freelance who specialises in drawing and painting. I utilise traditional practices that cover a wide variety of creative techniques and processes. Writing lessons: I am a professional journalist with 15 years of experience, having worked as a correspondent and sub-editor at leading international news organisations. Outlets that have published my work include Reuters, The Independent and The Daily Telegraph among others. I teach individuals of all levels and educational backgrounds the key skills needed for becoming a strong writer.
I tailor my teaching for each student, as many of us learn in different ways, to make sure that I can achieve the best possible results for you. I will begin by running through the content, to make sure that you have an appropriate level of understanding.
