I am a Biomedical Sciences student at University of Bath but originally from North London. I have been a tutor for GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths and History for a year now and am currently teaching AS Level Biology and Chemistry while at university. I consider myself to be a very approachable and a friendly character; and have had a lot of experience with children.
As an undergraduate, I can offer lessons to secondary school pupils, 11+ candidates and International Baccalaureate students. Lessons can be tailored to individual needs, but I find working through questions together to be an effective method of developing knowledge and understanding.
I can help any high school student who is currently preparing for chemistry exams. Come to me with your difficulties and I will make sure that you understand the concepts in and out! The way I work is that you tell me what you would like to tackle before our session (i.e. the topics that are bothering you) and I will prepare adequate material and explanation that fit your needs.
When we first meet I will ask you what you want from our lessons; is it exam structure? Problem areas? Past paper questions? I often find that working through past papers or exam style questions is the best way to grasp the methods involved in GCSE Mathematics.
My teaching method is relaxed, yet wholehearted, as I believe the best way to learn is in a fun and open environment, however I take success in my subject very seriously. My lessons are targeted towards GCSE level students, but I am willing to go through higher level questions at your request.
My teaching methodology is fun, creative and very changing. I rely on diverse methods of absorbing educational knowledge, by making my lessons interactive and different. I am very approachable and also hold good communicational skills. My teaching experience has led my students pass their entrance exams of grammar schools and other general tests.

I like to bring a bright and full of humour atmosphere, as I think that really helps the student acquire new material better. Through my A-Levels I have found where to find additional material, extra papers/problems/questions for preparation and would like to bring those to lessons for additional prep (if asked of course).
My teaching method is to bring my love and passion for the sport into it and pass it on to the children! Hi everyone, Im teacher Lourdes hopping in your screen, if your looking for any private tutor let me be your guest.
Having been always told I was bad at maths as a kid, it took a lot of determination and hard work to get my grades. In my opinion, the reason why a lot of people struggle with maths is due to the fact that they believe they aren't talented. My approach to teaching therefore is to deconstruct the challenges that maths offers, building confidence and cementing the skill set needed to pass exams.
My teaching method is to go through each topic thoroughly and get the students to do practice exam questions. It is also helpful for the students to teach the information they learn as this is one of the best ways to ensure you understand the topic fully.
