A fun and lively French masters student living in Edinburgh, I am happy to provide teaching at all levels on the scale, lesson plan will then depend on the level of the individual and their desires.
I try to make lessons as real and experiential as possible, I believe that this gives the student context for learning and can make the lessons more enjoyable. I try to accommodate all levels and abilities and am approachable and understanding.
I have just finished my MSc in English Literature and I am looking to share my knowledge and help people at any level: from primary up to undergraduate level. Lesson structure will be totally dependent on your demands and needs. I am easy going and patient, so my approach will be a collaborative.
I'm an enthusiastic undergraduate Biological Sciences student who wants to help school students enjoy Biology more! Let me know what areas you want to cover, and we'll use various techniques - from short videos and diagrams to worksheets and exercises - to help you improve.
I am passionate about engaged teaching methods that can inspire students of any age with a love for historical study. I am available for one-to-one lessons online or in person. Sessions focus on analysis of both original sources and historians' writings, to suit the level of the student.
Lessons are aimed focused on the curriculum at hand and I like to teach by example - giving a conceptual explanation first before reinforcing with worked through examples. Thanks to my diverse interests and genuine love of learning I am excited to coach students of all levels, from the basics through to the more nuanced aspects of the subject.
I have experience teaching secondary science (intro to biology) and am offering academic support for both primary and secondary school students. My goal is to identify any areas of concern and work through them for a better understanding of the topic/assignment.
Experience of teaching 1-2-1 and groups from adult literacy up to speech writing and presentation skills for the United Nations. In a journalism career of more than 18 years I have learned all disciplines and genres. I'm engaging and confident - and can transmit the latter to the pupil.
Apprendre la langue de Molière doit être une passion. elle commence par la maitrise de mots simples tels que bonjour, bonsoir, merci et ne s’achève jamais. Car en tant que langue vivante, la pratique journalière à travers des conversations et les lectures permet d'apprendre, de découvrir et développer des secteurs d'utilisation de cette langue.
My teaching style is one of guidance where I nudge students in the right direction and let them come to the right answer by themselves. We will start with some broad lessons and then focus on the areas that can be improved on. This will be done using past papers which will give students familiarity with exam language and difficulty.
I am happy to work through any questions and past papers, however, my tutoring style can be adjusted to the students needs. Since I have graduated from high school only a few years ago I am happy to give some useful hints and advice on exam preparation as it is all still fresh in my mind.
My teaching method changes depending on the students level and the way they prefer to learn different areas. Having gone through the Scottish School system I have an in-depth knowledge of requirements for these exams specifically. For exam preperation I make use of past papers to ensure confidence in not just the language but also the exam set up.
I will encourage you to send in any questions you have in advance of the sessions, and I will seek to prepare to answer these before each session. Furthermore, I'm a big advocate for practise papers and doing exam questions, to help you learn exam technique and identify areas of weakness to place focus on.
I am teaching french one to one mostly, and i take time to listen to my students expectations and which area they wish to improve.I then assess their level and skills with different exercises and help them progress this way .
I favour an individually tailored approach to private tuition. I try to find out what the student’s goals are, what music they are motivated to learn and what prior experience they have and then try to help them find a path towards improving their skills and knowledge. I try to make lessons fun, engaging and relevant.
My teaching method is based on the student that I am teaching. I teach students based on their eye level. My lessons are purposeful and learner centered. Elements of humor is always present to entice students into focusing in lesson. I can teach undergraduate students and secondary school students.
I always start with you, the student who is sitting in front of me, and find out: What you want to achieve How close you to your goals now What your strengths are What your weaknesses are How long you have to achieve your goals. From this I will build a programme tailored to you.
Teaching English is a passion just as learning should be to pick its fruits. Small chunks of information will always help memorize them. Enjoyable exercise reinforce what have been tackled. Regular practice sustains learning and give confidence to the learner.
I will take you step by step through the key grammatical concepts of the German language using resources that I have vetted. I wish to encourage all forms of fluency, written, verbal, spoken and listening, with a variety of news websites, Germany songs and German YouTube channels that I myself use.
My teaching method is primarily centred around beginner to intermediate level learners. My approach to conveying knowledge is not only based on theoretical frameworks, but mostly on practice. This is due to the fact that I believe in the idea that learning a language is better done through various activities, rather then pure lessons with nothing practical backing them.
My objective as a teacher is to motivate my students to develop their own interests and creative thinking, stimulate them to develop their talents and help to reach their goals. Our lessons will be intensive and fun at the same time.
The IB has the reputation of being an academic maelstrom, but it can also be viewed as a rewarding learning experience that culminates in a colourful battery of useful life skills. I give classes in HL biology and chemistry and my aim is to help my students take full advantage of what the IB offers and at the same time, help them understand core IB concepts quickly and effectively.
I believe it is very important to approach each student individually. Every person is different and everyone will have a different way in which they learn best, and I think it is important to be able to explain the same thing in more than one way. It is also important to celebrate the victories and focus on progress.
My teaching method is entirely dependent on the student themselves. I would like to have an initial meeting to establish their learning styles and their areas of weakness and build my lessons around their needs. My goal is for each lesson to be fun and engaging, and focus specifically on areas where their work could be improved.
I would like to do introduction between students and I, following by outlining the study purpose of the class. Showing some compulsory knowledge and then giving students more choices.
I'm capable of teaching at any level. Usually the lessons contain a part of grammar, vocabulary, conversation and other kind of activities to make the process funnier and enjoyable. All depends on how the student wants to get involved. We can structure a lesson in many ways.
Methodology Change your relationship with maths through creative, personalised tuition. Everyone can learn Maths, regardless of your past experience. We can work together to improve your confidence and skills.
I am an anthropology student who can give lessons to beginners / kids with an enjoyable, fun atmosphere. I can also play guitar and a little bit of piano and have a good knowledge in musical theory. The structure of lessons can be tailored however you like, and towards whichever type of music you want to learn.
My lessons are based upon firstly finding out what motivates you, what are your goals, have you been successful before? The next stage would be to find your relationship with food, your eating habits and reviewing your food diary. Once we have discussed these we can start to get to work on changing your lifestyle to achieve your goals.
