I am an anthropology student who can give lessons to beginners / kids with an enjoyable, fun atmosphere. I can also play guitar and a little bit of piano and have a good knowledge in musical theory. The structure of lessons can be tailored however you like, and towards whichever type of music you want to learn.
My lessons are based upon firstly finding out what motivates you, what are your goals, have you been successful before? The next stage would be to find your relationship with food, your eating habits and reviewing your food diary. Once we have discussed these we can start to get to work on changing your lifestyle to achieve your goals.
I love Maths and Physics, I am patient and commited; these attributes reflect in my lessons. I like helping students through questions that may be troubling them or concepts which they are struggling to understand. I help reinforce what they learned in school and push them a bit further to prepare them for exams.
My teaching method is to use my past experience, relate that to each student, to really help them understand each individual topic. By building on the small basics, and then adding more and more, anything can be achieved, even if it looks daunting at first.
My teaching method is based on the Oxbridge tutorial system, and I think it is incredibly beneficial to have experience of this before facing an interview, as they tend to follow this format! The focus of my Oxbridge interview tuition is on building your confidence to speak academically and your ability to offer a critical perspective about what you’ve been reading.
I use very relaxed approach towards my students and I am willing to adjust methodology and intensity to the need of each individual. I believe that my classes are mostly suitable for complete beginners and those who require basic knowledge and would be using it for day to day conversations. As mentioned above I structure each class and its intensity depending on studetn's abilities and level.
I believe that everybody has creativity inside of them. Creativity is deeply connected to who we are and most importantly who we can be, our vocation and our strengths. It is the source of confidence which is vital to an open mind and the success of learning.
Change your relationship with maths through creative, personalised tuition. I believe that maths is something that everyone can learn to do. Whatever your current level or previous experience, we can work together to help you develop confidence in your own learning. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach maths.
My teaching method varies according to each pupil's ability. If the pupil feels languages is not their strongest area, I help them achieve their desired grade by compiling a series of cheat sheets with them, summarising the essentials.
My teaching style is very conversational and realistic. I feel that language learning needs practice and a real-life communicative approach. My goal in teaching is to have my students speaking more than myself, because using language is how you learn a language.
I approach each topic by getting a grasp on what the students' particular goals are, and then tailor-making our sessions to ensure that we reach them with time to spare! I'm friendly and patient, but I also require discipline from my students. The majority of the students that I have offered tutoring to have been high-school age, but I'm absolutely open to university level tutoring, too.
My teaching method is to first understand the whole syllabus and then gradually help the student to learn in detail with more practices.I prefer the classes as home tuition to be given to the students up to high school individually.
My teaching method is tailored, as generally people show different levels in speaking, reading, listening and grammar. Overall comprehension will always be the main goal and added to this more emphasis can be done in some of the categories depending on the individual.
My passion for teaching English is undimmed after over forty years experience. I gained my Graduate Teaching Certificate in 1970 and have been involved in developing communication skills ever since, mainly with Secondary School pupils but more recently with adult foreign students.
My teaching method really depends on how you like to learn! As someone who sat my high school exams not so long ago I know what is required to pass and to get the grades you are looking for. I have sat Biology from National 5 to Advanced Higher to currently studying my degree at University level.
I approach first sessions with an open mind and engage with pupils to discover what they are struggling with and why. I place a huge emphasis on making learning fun and student-focused, and am encouraging and friendly. I strive to always get the best results for students, in an open and exciting learning environment.
I have taught all ages in the past but primarily am looking for students in later stages of school, aiming for Grade 5 and above, and potentially music college auditions in the future. I have always believed in the music coming first, so my teaching style will try to encourage an independent thought process into the pieces being played and the message being delivered through it.
I give lessons to GCSE and A Level students studying for qualifications in English Language and English Literature. I am known for my relaxed yet attentive teaching style, and I understand the importance of creating a safe and open environment with the student in order that academic success can be comfortably attained.
My teaching method is based on my assessment of the individual student's needs, which will depend on what, if any previous teaching they have had. Older students often have had lessons in the past and are returning to them and sometimes their previous experience has not been wholly positive. This can sometimes require careful handling, but the learning must be enjoyable.
I have been studying French since the age of 7, and Italian since starting University in Edinburgh. Having completed my degree this year, I am now fluent in both languges, recieving top marks throughout my university experience.
My teaching methodology is extremely straightforward. The most important thing I think a tutor can do is to be totally flexible to the needs of the pupil.
I follow the Common European Framework of References for Languages, in that I think it necessary to evaluate the level of the student and the communicative needs associated with it. Any first lesson I give will begin with a test meant to determine your level and a discussion about your linguistics needs, so that I may devise a lesson plan tailored to you.
I strongly believe that there must be only one reason for you not understanding science and maths: they taught these in a boring, obsolete way. It's their fault, not yours.
I am a student in my last year of school, studying maths, economics and mandarin at Advanced Higher level. While I do not have a maths degree, I am no more than two years from sitting Higher and National 5 mathematics, which gives me a superior grasp of the exam techniques and knowledge that pupils actually need in order to score top grades.
I am best suited to tutoring biology at a secondary school level. I aim to tailor my lessons to suit each individuals needs, so that the student is able to build on any weak areas and get the practice that they will need for their exams.
My method may change depending on the objective to reach, the qualities of each clients and his needs. What doesn`t change in all my lessons are the following rules: - Always training in a secure ambient. - 100% of truth, even it hurts at the beginning, because thats the best ways of fixing ourselves. - Always face to face and at my sight.
I am a 27 years old data scientist living and working in the UK. I have lived my whole life in Spain, so Spanish is my mother tongue, and I have a C1 certificate in English and French. I promise, learning languages can be super fun and easy! (I am also currently teaching my boyfriend, who is British :) ).
Hello, I am an experienced home tutor who teaches maths, physics and chemistry to students of primary, secondary and senior secondary level. My teaching methodology is based on conceptual development, interactive reasoning, daily practice and revision of the previous lesson. I like my students to be energetic, confident and above all optimistic.
I'm Liam! I have an MA degree from the University of Dundee in History and am currently studying for my Master's at the University of Edinburgh. When studying any aspect of the past it is important to break down your pproach to its barest parts.
I'm a university student, majoring in literature and I give english lessons from primary school level until A levels in high school. I use the Principled Eclecticism approach, deciding on the most suitable techniques and applying the most appropriate methodology for your goals, learning style and context.
