I aim to provide a solid ground of the Arabic language while paying close attention to the needs of students as individuals. Learning should be fun and engaging, not a sort of punishment or a burden. I tend to repeat a lot and my classes are fast-paced and engaging. I spend the first five minutes of each class revising what was discussed in the previous classes.
My teaching method is starting with the basics and slowly building up a knowledge base so the student can fully understand the subject. I do this through an interactive style, rather than just talking at the student as I want to engage them. I also set weekly essays to assess the progress made during that week on the material we have covered. I have tutored friends at university and college.
As a language teacher I have taught many students with different backgrounds and levels. I have worked with teenagers, young adults and adults. My lessons are based not only on grammatical structures, but also on culture.

I give lessons at GCSE and A-level level. Techniques and methods depend on students' individual needs and their optimal way of learning. I am adaptable and ready to meet any needs. We've all been in science lessons confused about something so I know from experience how important it is to have something explained in a different way.
My teaching approach involves asking students how much they know about their topic first so I know what to cover and what not to cover, thus saving time and spending more time on struggling topics. I also tell students to read their book and explain to me what they learnt which also tells me what to fully cover.
I use some traditional teaching methods, and then adapt them according to the needs and abilities of each student. I like to combine traditional and modern skills within the lessons and find the best way to get the best out of each student.
I base my teaching depending on each student's learning needs so I do not have a fixed teaching methodology. However, whichever way, in the end, I apply more for demonstration, examples, tests, exam among others. Most importantly, I make sure I cement a very good relationship with my students and then take it from there thereby ensuring they get the best out of the tutoring relationship we have.

Regardless of the level you are studying for, I believe the best thing in history is to see how the past links back to the present. Be it the Romans or the Cold War, the world you live in is surrounded by history. My methods of teaching are flexible, and I aim to figure out what works best for every individual.
I give lessons to students sitting their GCSE in English or SATs in English that are struggling in the common areas of reading and literacy. The structure of the lesson would always start with a warm-up task based on their level of confidence in the subject with at least 5 practice questions to complete based on their weakness.
My teaching method is based on a communicative approach. So my classes are either entirely in Italian or English with reference to the native language of the student/students only in case of particular difficulties.
I focus heavily on exam technique, effective revision. It is crucial to cover both breadth and depth when studying history, so I help the student work out exactly what they need, and how to memorise manageable amounts. Further, how you say something is as important, if not more important than what you say - this is important in keeping a marker happy.
