I am a relatively new tutor, I speak both Italian and Spanish.
I play guitar, drums and bass all at quite a high level. I am looking to start tutoring guitarists of all ages looking to start playing the instrument or to improve their basic skills. The content of each lesson would depend on the individual but could include learning chord structures or learning scales to apply to solos and playing in a band.
I generally teach face to face in a location convenient for my clients or online since I am still living with my parents however I will be able to teach from my home when I move out hopefully in a few months time. In my experience working through example problems is often the most effective way to understand material.
My teaching method is about engagement. I hone in on how individuals enjoy learning and tailor my lessons to fit their needs. My main goals in each lesson are to outline the main principles, and then add in the finer details once a solid foundation and understanding has been laid.
I always try to find out what the needs of the student are first and how they want to approach the work, particularly trying to increase their confidence on the subject. Any GCSE level mathematics and A-level Mathematics can be taught.
When it comes to maths most people you come across will shudder in fear of the mention of the word, however when it comes to teaching it I always try to explain everything as simply as possible, maths doesnt have to be hard as long as you get a good foundation in it and that's what I would be aiming to do, building up on what the student knows already and helping them gain confidence in the...
Hands on , demonstrating the practical nature of the solution.

I like to teach based on engagment and discussion. I beileve if you can get the student to form and flesh out opinions on the topics being covered it will be more advantageous to their learning. By allowing student to analyse their own essays, opinions and work they can develop confidence in their knowledge.

For younger students I use their interests to engage them back into loving this wonderful subject. When that has been restored, we hone in on areas of difficulty by using fun and imaginative ways to approach learning. For GCSE+ I push students with thought-provoking lessons which give them the motivation to fully engage with the subject matter they are studying.

I am able to give lessons to beginners and more experienced students and favour the simultaneous learning approach that encompasses aural, pieces and theory - this helps students to make connections between important musical concepts such as improvisation, performance, notation and scales.
I teach to suit the student. If what you want is exam prep, I will help you structure your revision and help improve your knowledge and confidence in all areas of the subject. If what you want is support throughout your current studies, or to improve grades in a resit, or simply improve your understanding on a subject I will tailor the topics and depth of learning accordingly.

I am an experienced maths teacher who can help you achieve the grade you need at GCSE , be that at Foundation or Higher level. I will work with you to improve your maths skills and also your examination technique to ensure you succeed.
I offer Maths tutoring to students from any age up to GCSE. Having taken Maths and Further Maths at A-Level and gone on to do a mathematics heavy degree, this means I have a very strong command of the material. I am a very experienced tutor and have helped students improve from a 6/7 (B) to an 8/9 level (A*).
I am able to teach anywhere up to grade 5 level. As a beginner you would learn how to read notes from sheet music as well as transfer this onto a keyboard. Gradually I introduce more notes and musical vocabulary into our lessons in order for you to progress.
On the whole my teaching method depend on what the student is trying to achieve. For example if the student wanted to pass a class test on a specific area then getting to know the area back to front with varying examples would be the way to go about it. If the student has an exam paper coming up then learning each area extensively wouldn't be ideal however getting to know the exam papers would.
For music lessons I ensure that each student learns the most common chords and let them experiment with different riffs and encourage them to get creative and write their own songs. I also will introduce them to a music software called Cubase, where they can learn how to produce music.
