My teaching method is to show how something needs to be done and then allow the student to try it themselves. I hope to challenge design students with real world problems and examples because I feel that is missing in design schools.
I give guidance to students and I help them with the technical art and design process. I give them guidance through the project briefs by brainstorming and researching. I am a great researcher and I cam help students with personal statements and University projects.

I believe in a relaxed but focussed approach to tutoring. I like to create a personalised programme of learning for each individual student depending on their needs. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I aim to improve my students' understanding and use of the formal elements, and build confidence in their abilities. This engenders an openness to experimenting, creating a breadth of more diverse and interesting work. I also help with essay-writing and annotating (the less exciting parts of the course), ensuring that the student can analyse work that is both their own and established artists'.
I start by seeing the capabilities of my student - from there I am able to gauge their level of performance and teach from there. My teaching approach is to explain, demonstrate, do together and from there let the student attempt the task on their own. I am patient and am able to adapt teaching techniques based on the individual.
I base my classes on the individual student. Focusing mostly on their interests and strengths. Whether it is a class/group or private tuition each student gets one on one attention. Although my training is based on the Sight-Size technique my teaching covers a variety of techniques, approaches, mediums etc... ensuring the student is given the best guidance and covers a variety of methods and ideas.
