Hello, I am a Lancaster university undergrad studying Geography Bsc.
I will ask you the student what topics you find difficult and together we will tackle those topics with a range of methods including questions, interactive learning and pop quizzes to further your understanding and help you to get the grades you need.
I am a Master student doing Biomedical Science degree at Lancaster University. I am keen to give Maths, Biology and Chemistry lessons to secondary school pupils, particularly to the ones to be undertaking GCSE exams. My teaching style varies and can be adjusted to suite the need of my student.
I'm a student currently completing my GCSEs and about to begin my A-levels. I live in Lancaster, but study at a boarding school in Bristol. I teach the sciences, Maths, English, History and Geography up to GCSE level, either as an additional course, or providing support to students who are taking these subjects at school.
I am an approachable, friendly and easy to talk to tutor aiming to provide quality as well as enjoyable lessons to GCSE or A-Level Biology students. Lessons would be specific and engaging, focusing on one subject area at a time until it is understood.
I believe for biology and chemistry GSCE and A-level examinations, the best way in which to learn is by practising exam techniques. I am to set a question at the beginning of the session that we will work through together. I will then set a second question, similar in nature, and allow the student to answer this on their own (giving advice when needed).
I am a third year medical student at Lancaster University. I have 7A*'s and 4A's at GCSE and 3A* in biology, chemistry and maths at A Level. I am available most weekends and evenings to tutor students in a relaxed and friendly environment with no added pressure, working in whichever way suits you.
Currently in my final year of Med School at Lancaster, I am really keen and passionate about helping people achieve their goals and make the most of themselves. I'm a strong believer that exams are not the be all and end all, and that a good well rounded education goes beyond the restrictions of test paper.
I have 4 A levels in sciences and psychology and grade A's in all GCSE's. I have a degree from the Uni of Leeds in Biomedical sciences. I am now working at a hospital in Morecambe as a trainee dentist. I love teaching family and friends and all have obtained a higher grade than they originally expected. Willing to tutor A level students or GCSE in Biology or Psychology. These are my best subjects.
During a typical lesson I focus on explaining concepts and aim to improve the understanding of the subject content and exam technique. From the outset, I focus on how to answer exam questions because ultimately this is how the exam board will award the grades. My lessons are well resourced and I offer my own finely tuned A-level notes, revision guides and question booklets.
