At the start of my tutoring journey, with the student, I will identify which topics or subjects are problematic and what specific areas, within those subjects, are challenging for the student. We will also discuss what goals the student would like to achieve, as this will help me tailor the lessons correctly for the individuals needs.
I am a straight-to-the-point tutor with an understanding and patient teaching style. I understand the needs of a variety of teaching styles in order to supplement the understanding of others. I have a variety of teaching methods which complement the learning styles of visual and written learners.
My teaching method is very hand - on. I try to create an inclusive environment for my students in which they can learn the subject as well as life skills. I also like to try new things and the latest technology to experiment with different teaching styles. I believe all students learn differently and would always try to cater for their needs.
I am a medical bioscience graduate who is enthusiastic in passing my knowledge of Biology to Secondary school students and younger. My method of teaching is explanations, go through examples and then set questions. I go through topics step by step ensuring you will understand fully everything i teach.
I am in my first year of A-level studies, and have an immense passion for biology. I wish to share this passion and hope to show others how much fun this science can be! I have an AQA GCSE qualification, and am willing to advise anyone up to the level of GCSE.
Teaching is the act of sharing what we have learnt and hopefully beleiving that it will pass on and i aslo beleive that i can see many good possibilities for future in them
I am working as a volunteer teacher at the moment, I like my students to learn through easy and simple ways where I can help them understand through visual presentations
I'm a 22 year old first class Biomedical Science graduate looking to tutor GCSE/A Level students. Dynamic lessons include application and theory basis to broad range of sciences, including exam technique, visual and auditory learning and practical based work where possible.
I am currently a 3rd-year Biomedical Science student, studying in Leicester and graduating this January. I've worked with kids from all ages in activity camps throughout the UK. The lessons will be based on ensuring a strong basic scientific foundation, acknowledge and addressing weaker aspects and then building on this foundation to create a broad understanding of biology.
I am a motivational tutor, who always looks to improve his students, I give lessons to all students at GCSE level and below - to students who are either struggling with the subject or ones who want to exceed in expectations.
My teaching method is to work through a specific subject matter steadily, pausing at key points which are critical to the students further understanding of the subject. If the student is stuck on a concept, I'll think of a different way to explain it, with analogies, videos, and find the root of the issue.
- Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach Biology, Chemisty, Physics, Applied Science, Core Science and Additional Science to GCSE level. I have considerable experience of teaching pupils from year 5 to year 11 in these subjects. Additionally, I teach Chemistry and Biology to A level and for the IB. I also teach interview skills to adults.
- Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach the following subjects: A-Level and GCSE Art; A-Level and GCSE English Literature; GCSE Biology; Creative Writing; Essay Writing and Proofreading; Undergraduate-level in History of Art. For undergraduate-level Art History, it will depend on what modules the student needs.
I base classes on topic areas in the AQA syllabus' that student's are struggling with. Additionally, I can aid in working through class set tasks as well as helping to create revision resources that will be useful for examinations. I give lessons to any student taking GCSE or A-Level exams.
I think we all learn better with pictures, no matter the level. Being able to see the item under discussion and relate the lesson back to certain aspects of that item helps the student understand the topic much faster than being spoken to for the entire lesson. I have done this from day one and have always found that students relate to this method very well.
I can teach science to students of any age but GCSE or below is my specialty, as I have taken them recently and learned knowledge beyond the syllabus by doing my A Levels and reading around the subject for my university application.
