Hi. My name is Roofi and I have a PhD. in Biochemistry. I can teach science subjects. The lesson structure would be based on examples. The examples would help you remember things easily. The methodology would depend on the problem.

PhD educated tutor - provide support to high school student boosting their exam grades. Can tailor teaching approach to individual learning requirements. Like to use diagrams and anecdotes to aid learning. Like to tie in real world examples to demonstrate relevance.
I recently graduated from Sheffield University in Molecular Biology with a 2.1 classification in June 2016. I have an approachable, non judging, friendly teaching style. I have first hand experience in GCSE and A level exams, and like to focus on past paper questions to help build confidence.
I am a friendly and energetic tutor who adapts my teaching to the needs/requirements of my students. I like to focus on students weak areas, develop them and take them to the next level so that they feel more confident with the subject.
My methodology when it comes to teaching is to go through all the relevant subject material and highlight the areas the student is struggling with. We will then decide which revision method works best for the individual student and tailor lessons to a way which they will understand and gain the most benefit from.
Hi! I am a current PhD student at the University of Bath and recent graduate from the University of Oxford. I have over four years of Biology tutoring experience at GCSE and A-Level standard and I love doing it so thought I would carry on tutoring during my postgraduate degree! I am very enthusiastic about biology and love to get my tutees excited about the subject.

Previous students have achieved exceptionally high grades through booster sessions and pushing them to tackle and grasp difficult concepts, whilst being able to apply them to exam questions. Sample Exam Papers would be provided for student support.
- I'm a fairly laid back student who believes that repetition is the key to success. You don't practice until you get it right, but until you can't get it wrong. - I am happy to tailor each tutorial to the needs of the student but I will generally go through the theory of a given topic and then test it using past paper questions.
I am currently studying third year Veterinary Science at Bristol University give biology lessons up to A level. I am aware many students require tutoring to pass exams so I ensure the whole syllabus is covered and my degree allows me to put basic biological principles into real life examples which not only makes the subject more interesting but also more memorable.
I tend to tutor via Skype, which involves preparing in advance to ensure my students receive structured lessons. The first session consists of a 'traffic light' system whereby my student considers which topics they are most/least confident in. I then analyse which learning style suits my student best and then design a tutoring programme based on this; every student is individual.

I am currently studying a Masters in Zoology at the University of Bristol. I am based in Bristol yet I'm looking to give online lessons to GCSE and AS/A level students in both biology and zoology. I would help your understanding of topics by answering any questions or talking through difficult principles.
My teaching methods are very visual and as interactive as I can make them. I find, especially with biology, that seeing a system in action or visualising the steps of a process can make learning far more effective and enjoyable.
Hello! I teach Science, focusing on Biology and Chemistry to secondary / GCSE students. I'm very energetic and optimistic and I make the lessons interesting and enjoyable.
In recent years, I have focused mainly on teaching in Primary and Early Secondary School Years, but am willing to try with all ages. I don't feel qualified to tutor students at degree level, having left University quite some time ago. I can help students at Beginner level, GCSE or A-Level.
Medical student studying at the University of Bristol, who achieved 41/45 points at IB. Went to school in Hong Kong. My teaching style focuses on enabling the student to fully comprehend what their syllabus requires of them, whether it is GSCE, iGCSE or IB. I like to use plenty of diagrams to visually represent information.
I tailor my teaching for each student, as many of us learn in different ways, to make sure that I can achieve the best possible results for you. I will begin by running through the content, to make sure that you have an appropriate level of understanding.
I'm a second year Biomedical science student who last year passed with a 2:1. I studied Physic, Chemistry and Biology at A-level and Maths at AS Level. I have a good understanding of the sciences and gained A-A*s in all of my GCSE's so most subjects at secondary school level I would also be able to help with.
I tend to find out the goal of the teaching (e.g. exam, syllabus, desired knowledge) and the date which is being worked towards (e.g. exam, coursework deadline, personal goal) and spend the first session working out with the student (and guardians, if relevant), what they want to acheive, try and find out how the student learns best and set preliminary aims/goals with them.
Second year Biomedical Science student at UWE Bristol (on track graduate with honours class 2:1). I achieved an A in both GCSE and A-Level Biology and can provide a helping hand to get your head around those tricky Biological concepts and provide fun ways to help you retain them, through active learning.
My name is Mike and I am a PhD student on a Wellcome Trust funded project at the University of Bristol. I completed my undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences, with a specialism in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge in 2012. Since then, I have achieved two further Masters degrees in Molecular Biology, both from the University of Cambridge.
As a fully qualified secondary school science teacher I apply the same structure and assessment as I would in the classroom on a one to one basis. Depending on the students needs I can teach entire topics or pin point the students weaknesses. Upon completion of the topic I assess their understanding with past paper topic specific questions.
Good planning, and customising my approach to fit each student's needs is crucial for me. My technique is based on thorough explaining of the subject and keeping simplified but inclusive notes in order to facilitate revising. As time is not always on our side, planning ahead, prioritising and focusing on the important information is the way to go.
