I use the discussion method as I find it gives the student more confidence in the subject/topic
I would love to give lessons to students at a GCSE level and above. I use visual learning techniques to help people understand principles. I also set questions in which students can work through with my help to apply knowledge to exam settings. I am willing to talk through the general syllabus or go into detail on specific topics that may be tricky.
I approach lessons calmly and pragmatically, focusing on the key ideas that must be learned, before elaborating using real-life examples where appropriate. I encourage students to think about analogies or models for more complex processes, before applying them methodically to the specification.
I am a selfless person who loves sharing knowledge and gets my side-kick from the joy in people's face when they have solve for themselves what was initially a puzzle to them.

I am comfortable teaching sciences and maths at both GCSE and A-Level as my background is entirely in the sciences. The two most important things about tuition are that the the lessons are enjoyed and the student benefits academically. Thus, I aim to make my lessons as organised as possible and adapted to each tutee on a individual basis.
I go through topics that students struggle with in a simplified manner and try to make the classes as interactive as possible by testing the student as I go along.
