About me: I am educated to degree in Mathematics and specialised in Mathematics. I concentrate my efforts on 'private tuition' in which I have had considerable success and find stimulating and rewarding. I teach Maths up to A -level (New Curriculum), GCSE (New 9-1) Maths, IB, IGCSE and Maths entrance exams, Physics (up to GCSE), Chemistry (up to GCSE).I am tutoring in the UK over 10+ years now.
My teaching methods are very specialised to the individual.
An articulate Academic Professional with a proven track record of positive contribution towards learning, teaching and development of the young and adult learners. I have also acquired a deep knowledge of National Curriculum & motivating my learners and inspired them to do well in their studies. - Classes One to one and group classes.
I am not another teacher, I have had recent and more importantly personal experience with GCSE's and so have mastered ways of understanding, explaining and revising the syllabus. I will work together with you, and the exam specification to go through exam questions and techniques for high grades. I'll also teach tricks that i used during my own exam.
My teaching method is content first and then papers alongside. I am a picture person so unlike most tutors I explain with diagrams and most of the time give tips on remembering stuff easily by monograms. I am also a very open person so it will not be a very strict and timid atmosphere. I like my students to feel comfortable.
My teaching methods are tailored according to the need of the student. For science subjects i can start with the basic skeleton concepts and then layer it up with more details as we progress. This i am able to explain the very core concepts of science no matter what is the level of the student.
My teaching method is, providing students with the correct content needed then testing them every unit to see their progress.
My teaching method is to go through a topic in detail until the student is confident with the particular topic and then work on answering different questions on that topic. I also like to recap past topics at the beginning of the lesson to ensure that topics are not forgotten.
My teaching methodology varies with each and every pupil. I work according to their routine of learning, however I will ensure that the lesson will be summaried in a mind map and past paper questions, calculations and past papers will be provided for GCSE and A-levels students. Student are welcomed to call outside lesson hours and this is free of charge.
I am willing and able to instruct students in a level chemistry and below. I approach each student with finding the areas and topics that they find difficult and concentrating on them in order to improve their overall confidence in the subject matter.
Teaching and learning targeted to your needs.
My teaching method is based on making sure the student understands the concept behind the respective subject. I will be giving notes on the subjects which I teach with chapter wise exam paper through which I feel the student could get an understanding of the subject and relate him/her towards the exam scenario and give immediate feedback.
As someone who has been through the struggles of GCSE and A levels, I like to centre my lessons around the needs of my students and will adapt my style to what best suits the student. If I'm going to be your tutor, I would appreciate it if you told me your exam board and prior to each lesson, the topics you are struggling with.
An initial class with me will go over the curriculum of the qualification you are studying for, and together we will identify your strengths and weaknesses (e.g. you can pick up algebra easily, but perhaps struggle a bit with calculus). We will also do a practice exam to see which areas need more work on. This will allow me to draw out a lesson plan for you for the coming weeks.
My teaching methodology is to find out the areas that are the most problematic in the syllabus and the areas needed to be covered and to break things down in the simplest form possible.I use real life analogies to explain things so that everyone gets that 'light bulb' moment.
I strongly believe that sessions should be tailored to a students specific needs to suit the way they learn best.
