My teaching methodology involves splitting topics into smaller segments rather than trying to cover lots of material at a time. One of the best methods I have found would be to do lots of practice questions as this is the best way to assess one's competency at their subject.
I start with an overall assessment of basic knowledge and individual needs of the student, we work together in a plan that will help you achieve your goal in time and discuss the learning strategies that have been helpful or not in the past as well as the topics to be covered in our tutorials.
I approach each student with a fresh approach as no two students learn in exactly the same way. I do however start out with a tried and tested method that allows me to gauge where the student currently sits, in terms of topics covered and knowledge of said topics, and so from there I can formulate a plan to effectively teach and cover all areas that need to be improved.
I agree a broad programme with parents then adjust as specific tests come up at school in Biology, Chemistry or Physics. I adjust my content to match which of the four GCSE options are taken namely Triple or Double Science, Higher or Foundation. to and I set very targeted homework, followed by an email feedback after every lesson.
I am patient, enthusiastic and believe that the key to learning is understanding. I absolutely love science and try to integrate everyday examples and explanations into what the students are required to learn. Lesson are based around what the student needs at a particular time - whether it is to catch up, keep on top of things at school or cramming for exams.

My experience in tutoring led me to a method in which teachers and students play an equally active role in the learning process. I base my classes on A level up to 4th year degree organic chemistry content, and typically my method is to assist with problems students might have or come to me with, and act as a point of reference for content students can access outside of a lesson to broaden their knowledge.
1 to 1 sessions. Firstly, assessment of current ability and then a tailored programme suited to needs of students in preparation for examinations. Exam technique as well as specific skills and troubleshooting provided. Intensive programmes can be designed to suit the needs of the students.
I try to focus my methodology on what the student wants to gain from the lesson. If it’s exam technique we can work on that. I can shift to conceptual learning and to even techniques on how to memorise things. In most cases I try to understand the preferred learning style of all my students so that they are able to remain engaged and learn in a way that suits them.
