In my personal experience the best way to become a competent mathematician is by applying the mathematical theory to answer questions. For this reason my tutorials will follow a structure of a theory recap for the current topic before introducing personalized questions including exam questions which increase in difficulty.
Lessons based around summarising key parts of the course into condensed notes that are more accessible and easier to learn. Routinely work through example questions to show what is needed to achieve high marks. Regular past paper testing to evaluate the pupil's level of understanding in order to pinpoint areas of improvement.
I give lessons to GCSE students and A Level students. For saxophone lessons I do play along lessons including playing and theory using many books and music sheets that I have available. For biology, chemistry and maths I use powerpoints, past exam questions and revision posters that we will go through and talk through allowing you to review the topics taught independently as well.
I feel that the best way for people to learn is to initially identify any weakness and work through problems together, giving them confidence to work through these independently. Following the curriculum is key, therefore it's important to look through examples of past exam papers and current work from their teachers to ensure they are going to achieve the best possible grades.

My teaching methodology involves tailoring the learning experience to the individual student. - Classes Each student attends normally for one session per week for one hour and 20 minutes. In some cases, 2 lessons per week can be offered if deemed necessary.
