My teaching, much like my cooking, is based on making things as easy as possible and sticking to a budget. I won't give you recipes; I will give you skills to feed yourself and keep yourself healthy. I myself struggle with some health issues, including eczema, allergies and IBS.
Pastry work is the best combination of art and science. Neither can be taught simply from demonstration, and I don’t believe pastry work and baking are like that either.
Classes are all theoretical unless you gather the resources necessary before, in which case we will learn by actually doing. I haven't given actual lessons on this as it is pretty straightforward. But for those who need help from someone with experience here is my offer.
I like to teach people with a step by step method, telling them why the water has to be boiling before they put certain vegetbles in and why others are cooked in cold water, i find breaking cooking down makes it much easier for people to learn.
