I am a patient teacher and will start from basics and move level up step by step. It will be fun learning with me. I can teach various bollywood styles and other Indian dance forms like Garba, Indo-western, bhangra. I will be giving a free demo class.

My teaching method is demonstration and repetition of a set routine several times. I am happy to choreograph and teach any routines ranging from contemporary to bhangra. I am open to teaching anyone ranging from 10-20 years. The lessons will be according to capability therefore no-one would find a routine extremely challenging, instead just challenging enough to push them to another level.

Having recently graduated from a renowned vocational ballet school, I am fully aware of the expectations and levels required to make it within the ballet world. However, I also remained in academic education until the age of 16 so I understand that ballet can be simply an enjoyable hobby as well as a vocation.

I set up the base by teaching the background and theoretical details of the dance form along with physical exercises to open up the body of a non-dancer. Followed by exercises based on each part of the body, while slowly going into teaching dance steps on classical Odissi music.
My teaching method is based on showing my pupils the moves that they are going to learn, then they do the moves and if they have any doubts or they don´t know how to do it correctly I will do the moves with them until they know how to do it, then they will do it alone and learn more moves to make a choreography.
