Bollywood is much more than just dance steps, its energy, expressive and fun! I focus on making students feel the music and go with the flow! I help them feel relaxed and comfortable in their bodies and have a good time as they pick up the routine! My style is flexible and can be tailored to the students preference.
Through one to one or groups,I break down moves, drill them, help students to improvise and work through mini choreographies. Students are encouraged to create their own choreographies and projects, when they are ready to do so. Students learn about the culture, history, music and costuming of these dances,in detail.
I believe that the best way to begin learning how to dance is with the basic steps of each rythm and style, so we would start out with that. After learning each couple of steps I will put together a simple choreography just so that you are fully familiarized with the dance.
I start my lessons off with a 5 minute warm up. I then teach a dance routine step by step which I ask for the student to perform at the end. Dependent on how big the class is, I may split them into groups and ask the each group to perform at the end.
I work my lessons around yourself, times and days etc.
My teaching is based on classical dance methodology with a main focus on giving focused and relative feedback so that the students become aware of their posture, movements and their own technique. I demonstrate to give my students a clearer understanding of what is expected.
my teaching method is i do some steps each week and then after they get technique i teach them coregraphy and then show the parents what they have done it is really cool i teach them jazz contemporary ballet and maybe call me

I believe anybody can dance bollywood. If you truly enjoy bollywood dancing, there is nothing stopping you. I am a very patient teacher and will start from basics. Each session would start with me performing the routine first, then going step-wise over every move in sequential order.
I engage students creatively, encouraging them to express themselves through movement. I believe that anyone can dance, regardless of age or ability, and encourage all to try out new skills! Fun and creative sessions are key to my success and ensure that students are motivated and engaged throughout.

My teaching methods include the basics of movement for all body parts (isolation techniques) musicality & teach you how to have fun most importantly. I am a strong practitioner/ believer in : 1. Leading, Creating & helping you find your own style of unique style of dance . I don't like to force people to do choreography or dance in a way they do not enjoy. There is no perfect way of dancing.
I base my classes on dance as therapy (physically, emotionally or spiritually). The movement is story telling and has so much healing power.
I would love to share a deeper understanding of dance challenges standard conceptions of intelligence and achievement and show the transformative power of movement for people of all ages and backgrounds.
My teaching method is based on showing my pupils the moves that they are going to learn, then they do the moves and if they have any doubts or they don´t know how to do it correctly I will do the moves with them until they know how to do it, then they will do it alone and learn more moves to make a choreography.
Hello, my name is Lucy Thatcher and I have recently moved up from London to live in wonderful Cheshire. In London I worked as an actor in the West End performing in some of the most successful shows including the RSC's Matilda and many more. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach acting, singing and dancing to all ages and abilities.
My teaching practice involves building students up gradually as dance technicians. Breaking down movements so that they are easy to understand. I also include acting exercises to help improve confidence and development of artist abilities.
I am very ambitious and always aspire to push each student to their maximum potential which I know they are always capable of doing.
I am here as a tutor to anyone who is interested in performing and is willing to improve, whether it be with dance or singing. Being in dance lessons since the age of 3, I have had a wide experience of being taught, including by my own mum who has taught me since I started. I am very laid back so as long as you put the effort in, I will give the same amount back.
My teaching method is based in the encouragement and motivation of the pupil. If the pupil is happy and motivated his results will improve and will become more efficient.
I base my classes on what I feel is best to help my tutee and how I can benefit the most.
