I am 26 and offer lessons to people of all abilities, whether it be a child of 4 or an adult of 94. I have many topics pre-planned with steps lined out, but I can plan new lessons based on the desires of the student(s). I have tutorial sheets I have made that can be used as well for further reference.
My teaching is based on idea development classes, integrating contemporary art and themes into my teaching requires a shift from predominantly technique-driven instruction to idea-driven instruction. Many artists do not work in a single medium or technique and instead try to explore an idea, event, situation, or question through multiple media and visual strategies; I encourage this methodology.
I give guidance to students and I help them with the technical art and design process. I give them guidance through the project briefs by brainstorming and researching. I am a great researcher and I cam help students with personal statements and University projects.
I am a life community artist and qualified teacher who has worked for many years with students suffering mental health problems, learning difficulties and disabilities. I currently work as a free-lance artist delivering workshops over the years through local charities and Suffolk county council.
I have a hands on approach with art. As we draw anything and everything I focus on weakest areas such as technique and style and poportion whilst also making sure pupils have the best time. Art is about creativity and that comes when you are relaxed and enjoying yourself- no need to be boring but no need to be overly strict.
I believe that the right teaching approach does not only come in one specific form. Because we are all different, we also learn in diverse ways and at different paces. My goal is to find out what the most effective learning technique is for my student, and then establishing a plan from there.
My teaching method can be adapted to suit your learning style, Each lesson will contain different practices and experiments. We will learn to use many different mediums to create interesting and professional drawings and paintings. Each session is regularly changed to fit you and your abilities as we progress.
My approach is open, polite, clear, fun, attentive and assertive. The levels of teaching have varied from one on one tuition for GCSE portfolios to big time 'creative' corporations in Hollywood. I encourage all students to use the side of the brain that is less used. I include philosophical approaches to my teaching.
My teaching is entirely student-led. Once I have been briefed on what the student wishes to achieve in the lesson, then we can plan it together - whether that's simply to gain pleasure from creating art, preparing for an art exam or preparing for entrance to art school/university. I am able to take into account personal preferences, learning styles and abilities.
my name is christine brown i would like to give lessons to children from 8 to 11 anyone that might be interested in any other courses that i might introduce them to. i would like to start classes about 9.00am until 15.
My teaching methodology is through practice and application. You will learn visual development and drawing by taking on small projects and following a structure which will expose you to different ways of exploring ideas and expressions. You will learn to draw through practice, guidance and feedback, constantly training your mind and eyes to recognise the fundamentals.
My teaching method is to get to know the individual first, see what they need help with, and then go from there. I am experienced in various subjects involving the visual arts and would be more than happy to help develop other students abilities.

I aim to improve my students' understanding and use of the formal elements, and build confidence in their abilities. This engenders an openness to experimenting, creating a breadth of more diverse and interesting work. I also help with essay-writing and annotating (the less exciting parts of the course), ensuring that the student can analyse work that is both their own and established artists'.
Working with the student to find out what their interests are then tailoring lessons to develop their potential style. Sharing with them my art history, contemporary and technical knowledge. I will push students to experiment beyond and test what art can be for them.
Ive found its helpful being given examples and inspiration when you are trying to learn about this and practice, so i can reccommend artists for research, offer differnt medium techniques and help you develop creatively as an artist as i do so myself .
I believe anyone can draw. It’s all about imparting the techniques and skills and giving students the confidence to put those into use. With practise and knowledge comes confidence and the ability to expand their creativity.
I base my approach on a partnership very much under the humanist philosophy of building empathy and trust, geared to involve the learner at each stage of the decision making process. Through building up a rapport with students i can adapt my methodology towards individual learning styles.
I am trying to help you improve multiple academic skills and discover your own style combining learning with pleasure. My teaching experience started since 9th grade (6 years). And we can focus more on what are you feeling shakey about or we can start all from the beggining.
My classes are aimed to inspire students and help them develop their observational skills. They involve drawing from life using line, tone and colour. Students can also learn watercolour technique. I am happy teaching beginners or those who would like to further improve their skills. Tutoring can be tailored to individual needs - either one to one or groups of up to three students.
Gearing every lesson to the individual needs of the pupil to motivate, inspire and challenge in order that progress is made and confidence and self-satisfaction are developed. I teach in a relaxed yet purposeful style listening to the requirements of my students.
I am a bright and friendly 22-year-old graphics and illustration student. I offer lessons for primary and secondary level, in all disciplines of art and design. My techniques and methods of instruction focus on identifying the students enthusiasms in order to guide them into producing work with energy and excitement.
I do not have a standardized approach but will devise a plan of action according to each individual students strengths and weaknesses and their desired goals, helping them to develop the most creative approaches to the art and design briefs their courses set them.
First of all, I like to make the students at their ease and see what is their level of knowledge on the subject and reassuring them that from where they are they can achieve their goal. I give them personalized homework based on their skills in order to bring forth their talent and potential.
The ones I can give the biggest help is young students applying for art high schools or universities. I can help collect a portfolio for the application, get ready for the exams, or just simply improve skills for the lessons.
First in first I will not teach you art !Because art is somthing you can experiment and understand, not something you can learn. I'll teach as a digital artist my experience, techniques and how to find your own style to do that, discipline and good methodoligy is the best to make great progress in a short time .
I tutor people from all backgrounds with varying aspirations, whether they want to practice art as a hobby or go on to study at Foundation or Degree level. Lessons are tailored to the person or the group, there is little structure with the emphasis being on freedom of expression & experimentation. My aim is to inspire & for the students to enjoy what they do.
