I think anyone who wants to learn how to learn how to sketch and create their own work should do it in his own style.
My aim is to be flexible in my approach, and encourage my students in their studies to build the confidence they need, and find the materials that best suit their interests. The classes I give are really to allow them to become that artist they want to become and enjoy the experience along the way.
When a student comes to me whether a beginner or advanced I like to find out what their aims and interests are. I then tailor the course uniquely for them. Because my groups are small I am able to do this. So I may have a class of five all doing different mediums. If a student has never worked in any medium before or for a long time I will structure a course to suit them.
My teaching methodology involves my skills on Psychology and Sociology. Personally I prefer to listen and meet the children with various activities with that purpose and then adapt my lessons to each student so that they are all being challenged and enjoying it their own way.
Private art lessons tailored individually for each student, my classes consist on the development of one's art practice and talents, fun engaging art lessons incorporating art history as a learning methodology. My lessons lay a special emphasis on painting and sculpture techniques and different approaches.
I appreciate the time I have with the kid and want to create a friendship with them. Art is meant to be fun and intuitive, I concentrate on bringing forward each kids individuality. Whether it is to prepare for school or develop skills, I will be happy to take on the challenge.

Hi As a creative I have worked across a diverse set of disciplines from illustration, animation and moving image. I currently hold two teaching posts at the Open University and at Bath Spa University. My personal view is in that creativity is within reach of everyone. Through creative activities we can learn how to improve the world around us, to make a change.
I have undergone a tremendous creative journey from my early beginnings at art school to my degree in Digital Art & Technology. As a result fine art is truly at the core of what is my passion for all things digital. Having a fine art foundation has proven to be an asset, affording a wide perspective when confronting creative decisions.
I am looking for students from KS2,3,4,5 and pre-foundation who wish to improve their art skills and knowledge of art history and processes. Prior to private tutoring I was working at a secondary school in SE London where I was a classroom teacher across the main 3 key stages. I am familiar with the B-Tec and A Level Diplomas, and also the GCSE requirements/curriculums.

I would love to teach in a friendly, yet professional manner, similar to the education style I was exposed to in university. I would like to give as much freedom in making art, hence will mainly focus on giving criticism in order to inspire students. I believe that there is no such thing as bad art, and every child who is interested in making art will have the potential of being an artist.
I believe that as a teacher if you put in enough passion and enthusiasm you will receive the same from your students. There must be a balance of sheer enjoyment, education and discipline. You must also establish a good relationship of mutual respect in order to have the most effective learning environment.
I enjoy working with others in their projects and I like engaging them in mine. Good team work is essential for me. I have great experience in communicating with pegople of different cultures and backgrounds.
I approach everyone differently. Depending on a level of skills and goal. I guide and teach technical steps but encourage everyone to develop their on style.

I believe in a "hands on" approach. Using all media, and setting work that someone may find challenging but, working from it to better their outcomes and understanding of art, as well as the methods, history and understanding how to enjoy the process of creating art. Focusing on what is important to the student and how to progress at a rate with suits them.
My methodology is a combination between technique and practice. I prefer teaching the technical process first, showing the technique myself later and encouraging the student to try it afterwards. I love receiving feedback and I am happy to share my knowledge in this domain.
My method of teaching is short classes of around 2 hours per week, teaching muscle memory, the art of practicing.
During the class we are focusing on understanding the form of the objects by drawing still lifes. Each person has a different level so the classes are personalized.
My teaching is to motivate and give confidence to the learner that he can improve if just learn from his error s
I approach each lesson by assessing who the student is and what their level of understanding of the subject matter is. Once I have an understanding of how to approach the student, I can then alter the lesson to fit their strengths and overcome their weaknesses.
