I recently graduated from Keele University with First Class Honours in Criminology and Economics, prior to which I completed some Open University courses in mathematics. I offer step-by-step tutoring for secondary students in Economics (up to A-Level) and Mathematics (up to GCSE) on a one-to-one basis.
I structure my lessons around what the student desires to study, meaning I offer student-centred lessons. I prefer to teach in a discussion based style and I am comfortable to expand upon points covered, however I am also adaptable to any specific requirements of students.
I will base my lessons on the student’s curriculum that I will have prepared for beforehand and will focus on any area that student might find difficult.
I would like to offer economics tutoring to A Level or GCSE students. I am friendly and approachable and would like the students to feel as if they can ask the questions they are most struggling with, then cover them topic by topic. I would also be happy to mark mock essays and provide feedback. I have old scripts from my previous A Level economics exams which may be of help.
Economics is all about logic and chains of reasoning. I prefer to look at big concepts and break them down into small understandable steps.
I am currently an Economics undergraduate student at Nottingham Trent University, who recently gained a scholarship to study at a prestigious partner university abroad (Vienna university of Economics).
I tutor GCSE, A Level and BTEC and have significantly improved student grades at examination. Tutees find my tuition lessons interesting and they provide insights into the subjects/s not provided in School or College or with their chosen online courses. 30 mins assessment free. Lesson fees due at the time of lessons or within 2 hours via PayPal invoice.
I am Final year university student doing BA Hons. in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) at University of Nottingham, a Russel group university. I studied Government and Politics, Economics, History and Business Studies at A levels. I also had the opportunity to guide training teachers at Middlesex university on how to write high level exam answers. Simplicity is key.
My teaching method is systematic and exam oriented. it also defers at the level of understanding of the student and the requirement of the student. I am flexible in my technique and i am a student myself hence i can have same level of explanation and sense of learning and understanding.
I'm currently studying Economics at The University of Nottingham and am willing to give lessons in A Level or GCSE Economics. I'm happy to go over anything from theory to exam technique. With respect to covering material, I will tend to go from first principles, building up some intuition before going to a practice question/scenario.
