Hiya! I'm a Canadian-born teacher who has been living in London for the past two years. I finished my Bachelor of Education two years ago at Bishop's University in Canada and moved to London shortly after. I have been teaching Year 3 in London for the past two years. I think the biggest part of teaching is to engage the learner.
I am a native English speaking teacher from the north east coast of Scotland. I have great experience teaching English online for work, pleasure and exam purposes, depending on what my students are looking for.
Hello! My name is Juerelle and I am a native English speaker, an English graduate of Birkbeck, University of London and a TEFL certified English teacher. I am a very patient and friendly teacher and tutor who is qualified to teach at all levels and can help you to improve your Basic English, Conversational English, and Business English.
I am a teacher of both English and EFL. I have taught secondary and above for a couple of decades. As an EFL teacher, I focus on communicative activities and student speaking where possible: wirth English, my approach is more varied, depending on the circumstances.
I offer interactive and in-depth classes to students ranging from secondary up to degree level. My lessons focus on what YOU want to learn.
My teaching style makes the student comfortable. I take an interest in them and make it obvious that it is the learner and their goals that is most important. My learners enjoy working with me as do I with them.
Experienced English teacher able to help with ESL conversation, grammar and exam prep. I'm a friendly, talkative girl from Scotland, UK and have been in a teacher in Asia for the past three years.
My style is to start off analyzing a student's strengths and weaknesses in the subject. For example, in English this could be grammar, pronunciation, interpretation of text or for Geography; physical vs. human. Then I focus on the areas they are weaker on to strengthen their knowledge, capability and understanding and improve their results, performance and overall confidence.
In my teaching I would ensure that you practice your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in English. I create my own powerpoints and worksheets for you to work through. My teaching methods are varied, which includes roles play activities and discussions.
It is a great privilege for me to work as a English tutor teacher to the students. I may not be great tutor but I will do my very best to spend my time with to help you develop your skills speaking English Language.

I offer English lessons to students of all nationalities, ages, professions and abilities. I am outgoing, very approachable and enjoy meeting new people. English is a challenging language and everyday is a learning process. I am a university graduate and I have a lot of experience when teaching children. I was a substitute teacher for 3 years before I got the chance to teach my very own class. I find teaching exhilarating and fun.
I very much concentrate, on the pronunciation, spelling and drilling aspect. Elicit from the text and test for listening and comprehension. I am very patient and am happy to work with Text books that concentrate on comprehension and grammar also whatever the learner feels comfortable with.
I would need to assess individual requirements and expectations in order to personalise teaching accordingly to optimise results.
I have taught all ages from ten to adults, at every level from beginner to higher level (pre-University in Scotland) I teach via a variety of methods depending on the student's needs and level of fluency.
I take a very friendly and calm approach to teaching. I structure each lesson well in advance, but leave enough 'wiggle room' for times where the student is finding the work too easy or too hard. I find one of the most important things about teaching is basing everything around the students' needs, as opposed to following a rigid plan.
I try to have a varied and flexible approach to suit everyone. I approach different topics methodically, and have a wide range of resources suitable for different people at different levels. I try to help people learn in a more natural way, without too much focus on scary grammar and other complicated things. I find that grammar is best learned naturally rather than by rote learning complex rules.
I start with you - the individual - and your requirements. Once we have established what you need, I tailor the classes to suit you.
I usually test understanding and level first and then I cover topics and areas where there may be gaps and also new topics, I will usually give a mini test afterwards. I like to use online resources and subject workbooks but I provide the extra materials.
According to academic research, linguists have demonstrated that there is not one single best method for everyone in all contexts, and that no one teaching method is inherently superior to the others. Also, it is not always possible – or appropriate – to apply the same methodology to all learners, who have different objectives, environments and learning needs.
I teach mainly one to one, pairs and small groups and the students are the focal point of every lesson. Each lesson is tailor-made with the main emphasis being placed on learner needs and desires so that the students are as much a part of their language development as I am in terms of the aims, objectives, creativity and content.
I specialise in General English but also taught B2 certificates. I am also familiar with other test typologies like TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge Exams. I taught students from beginners to advanced students. My teaching approach is very dynamic and centred around the student. I believe that this is the key for successful tutoring/teaching.
My teaching method is student-centred, I build my class around my students and their personal needs. I try to teach the logic of the language, rather than strict grammar. To sense the language always helps my student to get the proper knowledge of the language.
I base my classes on a healthy balance of conversation, grammar and exercises. Using a combination of my own materials and textbook makes my lessons enjoyable. My lessons are always structured around a particular topic relevant to the world around us.
I am a bilingual CELTA-qualified EFL (English as a Foreign Language) Teacher based in Aberdeen. I have taught General English to monolingual and multilingual groups of people of various background. I have a Business Degree so any enquiries in regards to Business English are also welcome.
I am happy to find a method that works best for each student. Let me know how you like to learn and I can plan lessons accordingly! Personally, I prefer to teach through topics which you will encounter in real life.
I am patient and flexible. I will adapt my style to individual needs and preferences but always make it fun.
I use a mix of theory, spoken conversation, listening and reading tasks as well as homework set to be reviewed in lessons to focus on areas to improve. I have helped students with IELTS exam preparation and also English for Academic Purposes at Reading University helping foreign students to pass the english exams to be able to take up places on post-graduate Masters degree courses.
