My teaching method is learning about French in an exciting way. I want all lessons to be fun whilst all very helpful. I teach all ages as I believe everyone can learn a language and it shouldn't have to be hard at all if the right time and energy is used to learn it.
I've been teaching French for over 20 years during which time my students have mostly obtained A or A* for their GCSE, AS and A Level exams, as my testimonials show. Hard copies of recommendations are available. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach French from GCSE all the way up to Degree Level. I specialize in the teaching of French Grammar.
I'm a second year political science undergraduate student who is bilingual in both french and english and was brought up in Geneva, Switzerland. I can tutor secondary students (year 7-9, GCSEs, and A Levels) as well as university level students. I assist with homework and increase methodology skills concerning grammar and vocabulary.
My preferable methodology is to teach in person. Every student has a different way to learn and understand and I believe it is the teacher's responsibility to analyse the student and use the requisite teaching method. This is only possible when the student and the teacher have a face to face interaction. This technique ensures successful results.
Depending on the level and the reason why people are considering learning french, different topics and methods will be used
I'm French, and I live in Canterbury for nearly 2 years now. I propose to speak french about a lot of subject, chosen by me and the student. It's better if the person who must learn is interested in the subject. It could be just chat, to improve the language. We can do exercises if it's better for you. Actually, I think it depends on the student.
I have been an enthusiastic language teacher for over 40 years and enjoy working with students who find languages difficult as well as with high fliers who want to realise their full potential. - Which subject(s) do you teach? My teaching method is very similar to that of a class, but with specific focus on trouble areas. The lessons will start with standard revision, followed by the identification of the trouble areas so that I can work with the student to fully help them understand their mistakes, not to feel bad about them, and ultimately improve on them.
When learning new languages I find it most important to interact as much as possible, and therefore try to speak as little English as possible. Having to learn a language without immersing yourself in the culture makes it much more difficult and one often feels shy with regards to pronunciation.
Depends on the person. I think that the key is patience. I try to see which goals you have to achieve, your weaknesses and strengths, and then we can work together based on these.
I plan my lessons based on your requirements, goals, strengths and weaknesses. I take into account your learning style and cater to you with a personalised programme. My courses focus on immersion in the language first and foremost.
I base my classes on what the student needs to work on. I find a lot of students seem to struggle with the spoken language more than written, so I organise a conversation class which focuses on improving that part. I also enjoy teaching grammatical aspects of a language.
I have always aspired to teach and help others learn, I am flexible in teaching whatever aspect of your/your child's French needs guidance. As an illustration student I am more than happy to make learning French more engaging with forms of visual learning or games.
