Salut! I was born in Paris and moved to the UK when I was 8 years old. As well as communicating in french at home, I have been studying French right up to A-level and self-studying. I started giving tutoring lessons whilst I attended Uni in 2013 and I have enjoyed meeting and supporting each unique individual! During the lesson: 95% of the time will be communicating in french.
I am a French girl here in England for the year (as the third one of my French degree. It is possible with the Erasmus programme), would love to teach French to people who wanted to. I don’t really want to be a teacher, but just try to improve your language skills by discussion, small exercices and games.
I am a 20-year-old British student, but I was born and raised nearly my whole life in a small village just south of Paris. I am currently studying European Studies and Italian, but I took French in my first year so I am well clued up on what is expected of university-level French. I like to think of myself as fun and personable, and I will make the tutoring sessions as enjoyable as possible.
My teaching methodology is to use the same process as the student's teacher. I use the same book as the teacher to have the student focused on the syllabus and the work. The methodology depends on the student. As the student can need more work or less homework, depending on the effort of the student.
I prefer to base lessons off of topics from a required textbook, or simply a list of areas the student would like to improve in. Lessons are generally a mixture of grammar points and exercises, and some speaking (conversation) practice.
All my courses are structured following this scheme: 1 - Review of the most important points 2 - Basic applications 3 - In depth exercises These 3 points include vocabulary, grammar and prononciation fundamentals I also use several training tools: exercises, audio recordings, TV news extracts.
I go to college at the moment and have interests in linguistics, cartography and numismatics (yes I am an old soul!) I like to make my lessons memorable and relevant, as learning languages relies a lot on memory and connections.
I have an LLB in English and French law and since having children I have taught french in private schools and I also tutor. I have been teaching now for the last 6 years. I have experience with children and adults of all levels. I like teaching in a passionate and structured way. Each student will have their own folder, materials and targets.
I am a Sixth Form Student in West London who currently studies French as one of my subjects. I am able to provide lessons in French to students studying it at GCSE and/or AS/A Level students who wish to obtain the best grade possible.
I have taught French for at least 20 years at all levels but more specifically GCSE, A and A2 levels and IB . My students have achieved high grades. I am constantly familiarising with new changes and requirements. I have taught Adults education too. I, from time to time, teach Italian at basic level. I am from Italian family but was born in Belgium where I did all my education in French.
I base my classes on a clear description of any rule regarding the language. I use different methods for kids than the one for adults. For kids, I follow the French Schools methodology. For Adults, I make a historical approach to make the class more fun.
My teaching methodologie is i mentor the student to be independant, and i help him to overcome his dificulties
My philosophy of language teaching is to find out why the student needs or wants to learn the language, and then I can seek the most stimulating way for the student to learn and be always motivated, with high sense of achievement. All skills are approached i.e. listening, speaking, reading and writing.
I tend to teach to those studying for GCSEs ane below and I bring a calm and fun approach to teaching

Children learn best when the lesson is engaging. So the lessons will be interactive to help this. A key part of my teaching will be based on vocabulary, as these words will be platform from which they can improve their French.
I am a very bubbly girl and very willing to help and teach anyone who needs my help. French is my strong point, due to family members speaking French. I don't actually have special techniques and methods, so I can adapt lessons to what you want to learn, whether it's more oral practice, vocabulary acquisition or writing expression. The aim is to help you improve in the field you want whatever your level is.
I approach each topic based on the level of my student. For example in order to learn about new vocabulary or grammar, I would introduce the words and their meaning and then do a dictation of a story that includes all those new words. I will then do an audio session to learn the different accents and pronounciation.
I believe that learning a language at a young age is key, not only for a pupils's foreign language skills but also to enhance their general level of linguistic communication and expression. I help pupils understand the roots of our words, whether French or English, as this will boost all future learning universally.
I am a hard working person, patient and understanding. I easy to communicate to and teaching is easy and it all about working ag the pace of the one.
