Bleuenn's Experience I was a primary school teacher in France for 10 years in different schools. I taught children between 3 and 11 years and all subjects of school (mathematics, french, biology, sciences, english). My job was a real work of adaptation, patience, communication in order each learns at best.
- French tutoring at GCSE, secondary or primary school level. - Peer-to-peer approach to teaching. - Friendly, approachable and understanding of individual needs. - Adaptable to different learning needs, flexible teaching style. - Can teach from scratch or work on specific areas that need work, it is up to you! - Online or face-to-face tutoring offered.
I base my classes on a clear description of any rule regarding the language. I use different methods for kids than the one for adults. For kids, I follow the French Schools methodology. For Adults, I make a historical approach to make the class more fun.
I am a qualified teacher of modern foreign languages with many years’ experience of teaching French at GCSE and A level. I teach from my home in Didsbury in south Manchester. I tailor tuition sessions to meet the individual needs of the student and can provide help with speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, translation, literature and film.
Native I am a native French speaker born and raised in the Paris region and I have dual citizenship so I guess, regardless of the referendum outcome, I will remain a French and EU national. Individual or group bookings can be arranged preferably through Skype or by meeting in a local café for those less inclined towards digital forms of communication.
My main goal in life is to help as many people as possible to further their learning, I believe that it is the most rewarding feeling I could have. I am a Year 13 Student studying A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Biology who achieved 2 A*s in Mathematics and French at GCSE and As in Further Mathematics, Core, Additional and Further Science (A* in Further Biology).
To speak fluently you need to practice with native speakers who are able to correct you and explain your mistakes. To develop the comprehension I show videos about topics that students need and I ask questions. This method allows people to speak and develop the vocabulary.
I am adapting my teaching methodology to the student needs. I can help the student with homeworks or revise a lecture that he didn't understand. I can also work on methodology or train the students with new exercises in order t prepare for a test.
I give lessons to students in Junior and Senior school. I usually try to see what the student really needs to work on to prepare my next lessons. I also don't use the same method for every student as I don't believe that one method works for everyone. In general, I try to use fun activities and games to keep the student interested in the subject.
My teaching way is very bespoke to each client. Some have big knowledge gaps they need to fill and would like a lot of attention and explanations. Some others just want an academic mentor helping them to sharpen what they already know and get valuable advises from people with more experience. And finally, some would require someone with whom they can exercise their language and talk.
The lessons are tailored-made both to the student aim and to his level. I believe that everyone is capable of improvement and that nothing is impossible, even though French can sometimes appear to be the worst language on earth. Besides helping you to improve your French I also try to include some French cultural aspects in my lessons jus so that you feel and start thinking more like a French.
Sessions are adapted to the student: it goes to structured conjugaison and grammar lessons to informal conversations that will allow you to improve your spoken French. I love the French language and culture and tutoring is a great way to share it with people.

I'm a 20 year old exchange student from the south of France. Currently studying a Master in Physics. I have a french diploma as an entertainer. In the past, I have worked and given lessons to children. I would be open to teach French to both students who just started learning the language as well as people who want to perfect their ability to speak the language.
I like to tailor my lessons to the needs of the student. I think that tutoring is a great way to expose the student to French speaking and this should definitely be taken advantage of, which is why a class should almost be 100% talking French only. I work mostly on the basis of the textbooks used by Alliance Française for my working documents.
My teaching style is based on methodology recognised through formal qualifications such as the Certificate in Education and Training, formal observations and practical teacher training. My aim as a teacher is always to incite interest and curiosity which makes the learning experience a better one for my students.
My teaching method is basically based on giving individual attention. I believe tutoring a class full of students is not really beneficial. I acknowledge the fact that each student has a specific capacity which needs to be catered for strategically.
