I am happy to adapt my teaching method to the needs of the tutee: I can be informal and have a more "chat-based" approach to language teaching, but can also plan to help pass GCSEs or A-level exams in French.
I am able to tutor for GCSE's or simply help with understanding or vocab learning if you are just starting to learn French or Spanish.
I will help you with your French at whatever level you are. I can use my materials upon request or help you with any difficulty you are having at school. As I am new in teaching my fees are low.
I am a very flexible and results-oriented teacher. I will always begin by asking the student what their objectives are and what they want to get out of the class. I will also adapt to the students’ preferred teaching methods if they have any. If they don’t, I will follow the subsequent structure: theory, apply, summarise.
The best way to learn is to practice ! Either if you're a student struggling with your homeworks or just someone who wants to learn french, practice conversation and learn more about the french culture...
I usually test understanding and level first and then I cover topics and areas where there may be gaps and also new topics, I will usually give a mini test afterwards. I like to use online resources and subject workbooks but I provide the extra materials.
I prepare my lessons according to the level of each of my student. From A2 to C2 level and I also train for the French GCSE. I try to make every lesson fun through the use of different types of games. I like using various supports too ; videos, music, texts, pictures... Moreover, it is very important to me to listen to the needs of my students and their desires.
First and foremost, I would like to say that I love teaching! I love my language and my culture! My method is more based on practice than theory. More importantly, it's fun!!! The practice includes poems, articles based on your interests, songs, conversation, listening to me talking and sometimes reading.
I have taught in the UK system from Year 7 to Year 13. I have taught at GCSE level as well as A level and am able to adapt to the challenges of the Exams as well as provide lessons to extra-curricular students. I will prepare 1 hour lessons once the requirements have been assessed, as well as homework, tests reading material.
My teaching methodology Is to involve more than I can the students giving them lot of practise to do written and oral
I don't have a particular method, I tend to adapt to each student, for the simple reason that each one of them is different. I want my lessons to be perfect for each of my students, however I follow a certain program of what I teach each lesson but still based of my student personal knowledge.
I follow the current curriculum to ensure good performance at exams and then help you push further!
I like to make the students involve in learning, making them participate in the conception of the lessons...
I approch each topic, we can approach the hubby or homework. Mostly we have fun learning. We talk learning more than writing.
I base my classes on your level, on your goals and on your learning preferences Interactive lessons adapted to your needs (not a lecture!) Proficient in international phonetics and will help you pronounce correctly Learning French made accessible and enjoyable You will be able to converse in French in no time and will enjoy doing so :)
I approach each topic by gaging the level which students are on by assessing their skills so I am able to adapt the lesson to their needs, whether this means I can give them extra support to boost their confidence or set extension work to help them fulfill their potential.
I like to meet all of my tutees to get an understanding of their level and needs before I construct a lesson plan. Lessons will therefore be completely tailored to each individual and carried out in a way that suits them and to meet their goals.
My method of teaching is tailored to each student and their course.
I tend to observe and listen first to adapt myself to the needs of the person. I will focus on communication to able my student to get used to the pronunciation and make him comfortable to boost its confidence while learning.
I adapt my tutoring to my audience. You cannot teach preschoolers the same way you teach GCSEs. For young children, it needs to be fun and active so I use puppets, games, craft and we sing and dance. For pupils getting ready for GCSE or A-levels, I stick to the book and there is a lot a "rehearsal" for the big day, focusing on getting a good score.
I base my tutoring or what motivates the student the most. To me, what is most important when learning a language is to learn through interests (book, movies, music) and by studying them. I give lessons to whoever wants to better their french, but not total beginners.
I base my class upon the skills they are at, at the moment. Will go inside and find out what they are getting wrong on and improve. I will give in the right homework for them to do to make them learn on what they have learnt in our lesson.
My teaching style is fun and engaging, especially with younger children where I use songs and games to teach language. With older children it is still important to maintain interest through games, stories and plenty of spoken language.
My teaching method to learn french in 3 words; practice, practice, practice. There's nothing better than carry a discussion, and through talking and using words several times, I would use basically te technics I applied on myself when I first came in the UK for studying.
My teaching method is led by the student and their goals, but very interactive.
I aim to work with the level of each student to aid their personal progress in the French langauage steadily. I can help with learning specific vocab, speaking french, learning idioms and with for a better and improved level of french.
For academic purposes, I teach students for scholarships (Radley, Eaton etc), GCSE, A levels, as well as University degrees. Needless to say that each pupil is different, with specific needs and abilities. My aim is to adapt the lesson to the student. I am always patient and supportive. I am pleased to say that my students do extremely well.
Before teaching, I need informations about the student's difficulties in order to prepare my own lessons and exercises. I am used to help students and after 3 years giving lessons, I learnt to be patient and to find some method to overcome the obstacles.
I prefer not to have a fixed method, but to adjust according to the student. For example for people who have a visual memory i would write everything i may talk about or mention. For people who prefer to listen i would try to talk about the matte rand explain it thoroughly.
I use my experience as I tuti to help my students. Before tutoring, I needed quite a significant amount of help from others to achieve my academic goals. I usually put myself in the place of the student to make sure they understand. I know what it is like the not understand anything that is being taught and to feel hopeless.
