I build my lessons around what is most practical to your every day life. Becoming sufficiently confident in a foreign language is a very personal process, and my main focus is to make you feel comfortable with making mistakes and learning from them.
I base my classes on the students/learners that attend. I want to know where they stand before they took on the class. As a determined individual, I expect learners to come with the same attitude as well. In the case of teaching German, I want to induce students into a certain scenario (e.g. a conversation) to better understand the lessons I teach afterwards.
My teaching method is learning with fun and patience in a relaxed environment! I give individual support to the student in whatever field they want to improve. I can work with you on specific school/uni tasks and projects as well as create my own exercises based on your skills and what you would like to learn.
My teaching methodology is oral based, as I believe the hardest and most important thing to focus on when trying to increase fluency and confidence in a language is oral skills.
Practicality is important for me. I believe that being able to use the language from the beginning is important. But I also believe that some foundation in grammar can go a long way in using the language more confidently. I also believe in the significance of contextual interpretation.
I have been working at local secondary schools and have been supporting students from KS3 (in German, Spanish and French) up to KS5 (German only) for a number of years now. I can assist with GCSE preparation up to A level. Having worked on the AQA curriculum I am versed in what the examiner is looking for and can assist to make understanding easier.
My teaching method is to start with a basic understanding and move up from there. I will adapt to the pace of my students to make sure everybody gets it and is able to improve. I take the time to repeat knowledge until the student feels confident.
All of my lessons are tailored to my tutee's needs exclusively and I take pride in making sure that every session counts and makes a difference.
I use the communicative approach. I focus on mainly using German during my lessons to give you full immersion (but if you are a beginner, I usually start explaining a lot in English and reduce the amount of English as quickly as possible). I can explain German in an easy to understand way and I can break down problems to their very core.
My teaching method is to create a relaxed atmosphere which doesn’t give space for a dull learning experience. For me fun and learning should be one. I also understand that every student studies differently and I can adjust according to that (i.e.
Welcome to joyful lessons! This is how one learns best! Any better motivation than fun? Let me know if you come up with one! Methodology: First I need to make some sense out of you. Then I use my magic to come up with the best of strategies to give you the pieces for the puzzle.
I prefer teaching languages based on working through learning vocabulary first. Trying to speak as much German as possible during the lessons would speed up the skill level. Reading comprehension through reading together in lessons would also be a great method of teaching I would prefer to use.
I use a variety of methods and tailor my lessons to the individual learner. I use reading story books to improve comprehension, videos and audio tools for listening and comprehension, current materials and topical subjects. I am an SQA assessor so can work on preparation formsitting exams and assessments at school or college.
I always start with the basics before moving to intensive sessions. I make the students write all the necessary details. I regularly give them assignments to improve their grammar and vocabulary. I integrate theory with audio-visual aids to make the sessions more interesting.
I have been teaching languages for 30 years and look forward to helping you, whether you are preparing for exams or are learning for business or pleasure. - Which subject(s) do you teach? German - beginners to A level and degree level English as a foreign language.
My teaching method is all about having fun and enjoying learning. This is the philosophy I have had throughout my education and I firmly believe it is the best and most positive way to learn. Lessons are structured in that we learn about a topic, such as immigration or media by learning new vocabulary to then work on grammar relating to the topic.
My teaching method is never the same for any student , i adapt my style of teaching to suit the student best. Majority of the time i ask the student which way they like to learn. I have been tutoring for over a year now and this style seems to work.
Being an open, friendly and communicative person, I prefer one-to-one lessons. I can tailor the lesson to the students needs, so the first step is always chat with the potential student. Afterwards I can decide which method suits better. Teaching children is based on playing but adult learners need something different.
I do not want people to have to learn of by heart and really discourage this, instead I place importance on the basics of the subject from which I can build up. I try to make to make my classes as interactive as possible.
I believe that the best way to learn a language is through speaking and listening, as well as repetition. I will also adapt my teaching method to suit you best in order to help you as good as possible. I can provide you with exercises and extra material throughout the lessons.
I follow my student´s individual needs. If it is preparing for school (GCSE, A-Level etc.), for a job interview or for conversation. Based on their level, I combine some grammar, vocabulary and conversation each lesson as I believe the best way to learn is to actively speak. The background method I refer to is DaF (Deutsch als Fremdsprache).

As I person I am quite open and honest and very positive. I believe that the best way to master any skill (not only languages) is to learn to enjoy it and appreciate the opportunities it gives you. This is why I like giving exaples and creating exercises tailored to each person's specific interests.
