-Accessible to anyone of any age and ability -Curriculum revolves around what you want to learn (with guidance from myself) to help you excel in the areas that you wish to -We can work towards grades, but do not have to if it does not suit your style of playing -I often teach songs, and then explain how the techniques could be applied in other areas, and to your own music
My name is Lucien, and I'm a student at Conservatorium Van Amsterdam. My versatile teaching style allows you to learn at your own pace in order to achieve your musical goals, whatever they may be. Whether you would like to learn to play your favourite songs, develop the skills necessary to play in a band, explore a different musical style or otherwise, I can help you make faster progress.
I like to teach each person as if they are a totally different to the last, based on ability, experience, what they can and what they can't do as of yet, I like to first meet he/she to see what level they are at, and then I can gauge as to what they need to do, and how I can help them grow and improve as an instrumentalist, but more importantly grow as a musician.
I am an A-Level student who has a passion for playing guitar, I am easy to communicate with and I am capable of teaching children or adults at a beginner to intermediate level, including students with additional needs or learning disabilities. I can assist students in song-writing. I am happy to teach different genres subject to student's requirements however I specialise in rock, pop and jazz.
My teaching style is warm, friendly and open. I am as much about helping the student to find their confidence as I am about building strong technical foundations. If you want to study for grades, or just to improve your playing, I am more than happy to help.
My new method of teaching can help you to learn easily and very quickly. High level of Guitar education included different materials of music such as, music theory, sight reading, classical Guitar Techniques, Guitar Repertoire, Musical phrasing and etc.
I have worked in an educational setting with children for more than 10 years. Working with children and imparting a love of Guitar and indeed Rock music is something that I enjoy doing and something that also comes natural to me. I have worked in educational settings and the school environment is a place I relish working in.
Lessons with me could be considered akin to two friends hanging out. I believe it is important to develop a friendly relationship with the student so that the teaching and learning is an easy, fun process. I give lessons at all levels and I am happy to teach you any style you wish. The lessons are about what you, the student wants and I am committed to teaching in the way the is right for you.

Music is my biggest passion and playing guitar is what makes me most happy, so my goal is to transmit this to you ;) I have been playing guitar for 10 years now, including 4 years studying music full-time in London.
My approach with teaching is following the student's needs. I always create a personal program for each student based on their level and availability. I also like to teach my students their favourite songs and give them music to listen to.
I assess what style of music you enjoy and cater the lessons based on your personal musical goals. I use my various techniques for learning to play better, faster and to retain the knowledge so that you can see yourself progressing quickly also.

Not only will I help teach you the basics of guitar playing, from reading chord sheets and standard guitar theory, but also embed an invaluable musical passion that will help inspire you to strive towards other educational fields.
I'm generally a friendly and approachable person, though I can sometimes teach with a firmness. I work on developing technique while also teaching how to apply it in both a live and studio setting. I always start with a warm up in my lessons but aim to safely push a pupil to their fullest potential. I don't just like to teach, I wish to inspire.

The word teaching to me seems to be something of a false word within the context of learning. Mentoring or coaching seems to cover the bases much more broadly. Individually is what makes us great, no lesson should be tailored to a group but the needs and the desires of the individual. Every individual learns at a different rate, everyone has a different thought process.
my teaching method is based on the necessity of the student. I will build a schedule to help the student to progress. During the lesson, I like to explain the subject first then let the student explore the subject through his playing.
I'm a self taught guitarist, with nearly 14 years experience in playing live, recording, and about 7 years experience in teaching. I always believe that no matter what level you're at, we can always learn from each other.
Listen the student, ask about the goal they want to achieve... Are they looking for quick progresdion or prefer to take your time... And if you don't have any idea we can have a look at the current charts...
I have a different teaching method to every student. After a trial lesson I can see what is the best approach and plan accordingly. It all depends on you speed of learning, abilities, experience and time. I wouldn't class myself as a professional and prefer teaching beginners that want to know the basics.
For Classical guitar I structure my teaching around the Grades as appropriate s. As well as emphasising technique I feel it also really important to develop musicianship. This includes understanding harmony. For beginners I would focus on duets with the tutor.
For me, staying motivated is the number one priority for success in guitar. I know from first hand how it feels to lose motivation, especially when starting out. To combat this, I look to balance learning more technical aspects with more fun and easy songs, so you can learn quickly while staying motivated.
I would try as much as possible to target the lessons depending on your music taste. I am here to help you achieving your goals wether you might want to learn how to play your first chords on your guitar or perhaps to explore further intermediate/advanced concepts and harmony.
My teaching method is to start by teaching the basics, such as strumming patterns. Then, we move on to basic chords. This is the stage that the student may come to me with simple songs they want to play, and I will teach them.
Would create lessons around modern guitar music. I would be able to teach many classic guitar songs by artists such as Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Boston, The Killers among others. Able to do any length of lesson and during any day Monday to Thursday after 4.30pm.
I am in my final year of medical school and need to earn some extra money to pay my way through. I have experience teaching beginners and intermediate level players. I feel that learning to play the guitar is really fun, but the first stages are quite hard. That doesn't mean the first stages have to be boring too.
