Hi, I'm Mia, I'm willing to teach any aged beginners young or old, I have a level 2 diploma in performance and production meaning that I can help teach you not only the instruments but how to rehearse efficiently how to find gigs or even how to produce your own music in your own home.
Liam is a professional lead guitarist in international pop-rock band Over Atlantic. While he is not playing shows or recording, he teaches all genres of guitar playing, acoustic or electric. He is open to teaching beginner, intermediate, or expert guitar techniques, as well as giving advice on how to use your guitar skills in the music industry.
I've been playing guitar for 10 years now, and tutoring for 2. This year (6th year) I sat Advanced higher music in school, and after Summer I will be doing and HND in music at Edinburgh college. As a tutor I am very patient and reliable as I understand how frustrating it can be for people of any age to pick up an instrument.
What ever my students are most interested is what we focus on in my lessons, whether that be song writing, learning songs or simply practicing techniques and technical skills. I always try and combine theory and technical work with learning music rather than just learning scales monotonously.
Im a 16 year old guitarist that has been playing music for 10 years, I provide online lessons for beginner and intermediate guitar players. Lessons will cover learning to cover songs and songwriting.
Ive played guitar for approx 7 years and obtain grade 7 and doing grade 8. I have experience in teaching pupils aswell. I teach essentials with chords and melody. I can also teaxh you how to read music and tab whatever your preference.
A Bachelors Degree Graduate in Popular Music, in the styles of Rock, Pop, Jazz, and Metal. I believe learning should be fun, and the best way to learn guitar is through the music you love. A joyful and exciting process as your knowledge extends and your technique naturally develops. Once you reach a certain level, then theoretical knowledge and Technical ability will be focused upon.
I'm a casual teacher, I have learn't my instrument by ear. I have been playing guitar for 6 years, I'm almost 19 years old. I love all music, Metal, classical, Jazz, reggae etc. I have learn't to incorporate different styles into my playing and would love to help someone do the same. If you're interested in what I have to offer then give me a message :) Thanks.
Private lesson that are geared around achieving the goals you want to set yourself but guided in a structured way. If you want to feel like your progressing in the right way while maintaining enjoyment for learning then please get in touch.
My teaching method consists of getting to know the students asperations, then tailoring the lessons to help the student meet their goals.
By ear or theory. I like to find your best way to inspire your creativity. You will be able to get your own sound.
I understand that each student has different preferences for what they want to learn to play or sing, and I totally encourage every one to take that as far as they want to go, through grades or just for fun.
I like to teach how my students like to be taught. The best results come when the student is enjoying the lesson. Theres no point teaching scales to someone who doesn't want to learn scales; or teaching metal to someone wanting to work through classical grades. If you want to learn covers of songs so you can sit in your room/go to an open mic and sing some songs; I'm more than happy to do that.
My teaching pedagogy consists in practicing scales and chords with fun and entertainig exercises that will make the students compound fluency as they progress onto higher skill levels.
I'd approach each topic to paying close attention to what my student would want to achieve with challenging a task in playing guitar whether that be learning a new song, scale, mode etc. My method would just to be patient, attentive and understanding, as I say I've been going to tutors for a long time so I know what is effective with beginners and whats not.
I am a young, energetic teacher and enjoy establishing rapports with budding musicians. My lesson structure is informal but organised, I understand the levels of difficulty for each new skill and will work patiently in chronological order with the student.
I aim to portray a very relaxed atmosphere and easy going attitude. I think that learning the basics is important, however, if students begin to learn a song they know, this helps ensure future enthusiasm and overcoming stress! This is how I learnt myself.
My method is to allow each student to find their own style and help to make them an expert in that field as well as teaching them advanced music theory knowledge which will be essential for their later years in performing and composing.
I aim to inspire people from a beginner to A Level standard, honing their strengths and widening their skill set. I am fun and bubbly, making your lessons enjoyable as well as instructive. I have a great passion for music and want to share it with the world.
I can teach all grade levels or tailor lessons to interest and direction of the student. Realistic practice plans and methods helping you achieve musical goals. Increase repertoire and musical knowledge. I can also help with theory, aural, rhythm, songwriting, arranging and improvisation.
I base my classes on the individual needs of each student.
I am an experienced music professional who is passionate about teaching. I love sharing the wonder of music with everyone! Learning an instrument can be one of the greatest joys in life and I would love to guide you! - Which subject(s) do you teach? Guitar Piano Music Theory Composition - Tell me about your qualifications.
I teach in a custom music room which resonates with music and helps promote a laid back and informal lesson structure. I teach at a pace to suit your individual needs making you feel at ease from your first lesson.
Each student's syllabus will be tailor made based on their current skill level, goals and tastes, with exercises and repertoire added to enhance their learning. Lessons are usually divided into three parts; recap of previous lesson, technical studies and learning something new.
My teaching method is to get my pupils to love to play and learn the guitar so that their teaching experience is driven as much by their own desires to learn as my teaching. My structure is to have 30/45 minute lessons in which we tackle a technical skill in guitar-playing and then apply it by learning its application in modern music.
When teaching the lessons will be fun and engaging we will focus on a new skill ever lesson but if more time is required on one certain thing multiple lessons can be used. I am a fun person and will try to make even the more boring lessons exciting for you.
I encourage pupils to learn by playing pieces that interest them. By using the latest technology, they are able to play along with accompaniment tracks, or to record themselves playing. I ensure lessons are engaging and stimulating to encourage rapid development.
I enjoy teaching in a relaxed manner. Learning something like music needs to flow naturally in a positive environment! The tuition I will offer will encourage you and inspire you to create and grow in a safe space, founded from my own experience within the industry, both from the standpoint of recording and live performance.
I don’t believe in spoon feeding the student. Instead I take an approach of giving you the tools and guidance to then be able to really understand and work out what you are doing for yourself. Whilst I believe learning songs are important, I also believe it is necessary to learn scales, how chords and structure work and eventually how to improvise and make your own music.
My method of teaching has always been getting the students straight into playing.
