My Home Address is disclosed to Genuine Lesson Inquiries only. The majority of my Tutoring has been done on a One to One Basis, each lesson structure is tailored to the Individual. Some require a strict schedule I.E they wish to learn a specific piece of Music or wish to learn to master the Instrument, Chords, Scales and the Music Theory that goes with it.
I set homework at the end of every lesson and will mark it in my own time. I will always go through it with my students in the next lesson and will provide very detailed feedback. I also offer my own revision packs which are full of lots of revision notes, exam technique, questions, and answers.
In my lessons you will understand how music translates emotions and ideas. Using the instrument or/and music production tools, we will be strongly focusing on the relationship between you, your instrument and the theory behind it.
Students of all levels are welcome and their needs and questions about getting better at the guitar will be accomodated and adressed in practice.
Hi! My name is Brad, and I am a Guitarist originally from Lancashire, but now living in North West London. I'm currently studying for a Masters Degree at the Royal Academy of Music and I'm looking to build a good network of students! - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach Classical/Electric/Acoustic Guitar and the Mandolin. - Tell me about your qualifications.
Teaching can be as fast or slow as you want. However, I believe that there must be heavy emphasis on the importance of slow, frequent repetition - this has always proved the best way forward, when learning an instrument. You can learn as much guitar theory as you want, or I can help with learning and perfecting a piece/technique.
I think learning by fun is most effective and mistakes and muscle memory are far more effective than repetitive technique. I like to teach based on the goals of the student instead of a general systematic approach as which is the same way I learnt.

My teaching method is to try and work with a student to help them achieve what they want to achieve. I will not prescribe my own musical method and exercise to others, but will instead try to make constructive suggestions based upon what a student's goal is.
I teach both acoustic guitar and electric guitar for all ages at the student's houses, with my own teaching method and books that I consider essential for the learner.
My personal teaching method is called the tree method. A simple method using the word stems and branches to demonstrate the different levels and areas we need to pay attention to in order for the rest of the tree to grow stronger.
I approach my guitar teaching through a nationally recognised syllabus, providing excellent structure to students' learning. This will encompass chord playing, improvisation and general musicianship. I also teach a variety of repertoire appropriate to the tastes of each individual student.
My preferred teaching method is face to face. This is because it gives the student a chance to meet with the teacher and build up trust on a regular basis and also gives the teacher the chance to offer personalized guidance. It's also easier to correct the student immediately and show them in person what they need to do.
Inspiring bespoke guitar lessons for all ages from expert tutor with over 10 years experience. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I like to adapt to whoverver I’m teaching. Each person needs a different methodology, I hope to make music exciting, challenging and inspiring. Hi, my name is Ben I am a freelance musician based in the West Midlands. As a recent graduate from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire I specialise in Jazz Double Bass, but also perform and teach on a wide range of musical instruments.
Learning music first and foremost. No needless theory and 'hot licks'. All lessons accompanied by full PDF lesson notes and HQ audio backing tracks. No requirement to read music. All electric guitar styles taught covering Rock/Blues/Jazz/Pop guitar styles. Learn at a comfortable pace.
Knowing the pupil first to check what level is at the moment and guide the lessons in a way that they are enjoyable and at the same time help to get the proper tools to find there own ways to understand different types of styles
The most important thing I try to start with is finding out what the student wants to learn and what they find exciting about music. That will determine how flexible I am in my approach.

I will start by finding out where you are on your guitar journey, and what you are wanting to get from the lessons. Could start by learning chords using chord diagrams and progress to rhythm. Or learn a particular song you have in mind. Get to grips with song writing, or work on certain techniques.
I offer a fun, empowering approach to singing, guitar, piano or songwriting lessons. I believe you have to believe in yourself; and I help students to do that whilst making it fun. It can be as formal or more informal as you like, I offer both classical training and contemporary and enjoy teaching both.
I know it is very hard to find a teacher that suits your needs, motivates you and keeps your dream awake.
I base each lesson on the individual goals of each student. By collectively agreeing on set short and long term goals, it will allow us to successfully reach our overall musical ambitions. Everyone wants to do something different musically. For some it is to learn to play in a band for fun, for others it may be to read music or to perform a solo concert.
