My lessons would be for children of a beginner to intermediate standard as having two younger siblings myself I feel I would be able to develop a relationship with them quickly and also help them advance in their chosen instrument. My teaching methodology would be largely based on what the student wants to learn.
I teach a wide range of subjects for Bass Guitar to beginners - Advanced, e.g. Technique, Theory, Improvisation, Learning Songs, Ear Training, Songwriting. I also teach Guitar, Upright Bass, Piano, Ukulele and Mandolin at these same levels and the same subjects.
I am able to teach those of beginner to intermediate level at various styles of electric guitar, although this can also extend to Bass and Acoustic guitar. I offer 1 to 1 lessons, where we can focus on the individuals needs and can structure lessons around the pupil.
I attended The platform one music of college and progressed through the b-tech and degree courses in commercial music. I achieved a merit in rockschool at grade 8. Lessons are catered personally to each student to work on specific techniques that the student would like to either learn or progress in, whether that be general development or work towards the students next grade.
I'm not about having a set structure to each and every lesson (although I can provide this if you would like!). I'm more about ensuring that you are getting what you want to develop as a new or old guitarist.
My teaching method is based on my study of the main music pedagogical approaches. I try to cultivate the joy of music in my students by following their musical taste and planning lesson appropriately.
I believe in empowering my students to want to go away and learn by themselves. Giving them the basic skills to show them how easy and accessible learning an instrument can be. To inspire them to play and write music for themselves and others.
It would be easier if a student has their own guitar, whether electric or acoustic. I am happy to teach chords, beginner theory and techniques and practice methods. I know a number of techniques and am happy to teach rhythm, lead or both.
I attempt to get the student playing basic chords as quickly as possible, and then move on to their favourite songs. I then break down the songs into simple structures-so they are playing their tunes as soon as possible. This gives them confidence, and also wishing to learn more.
Specializing on a one to one basis to nurture and encourage progress on a personal level. At the student's own pace and from their own level of understanding a natural progression will unfold almost immediately. Under my supervision progress will be swift and fun.
My aim is to teach you whatever you want to know, whether its a simple song or a theory lesson. I usually leave it up to the student to guide me on what they want to be taught, I find this keeps the lesson relevant and relaxed, thus meaning that each lesson is personalised to your own taste helping you achieve your goals quicker.
I focus on technical aspects of playing, making sure your technique is perfect to deliver solid progress. Different playing techniques include. Alternate picking, tapping, sweeping, legato, staccato, phrasing. Harmonics ect. The list goes on. This also includes theory work. All sessions have to be fun and to the players standards in depth and informative.
I like to base my lessons on the student's/students' goals and their musical tastes. I usually spend a little time assessing ability and working out a realistic pace. I work on a range of styles and techniques so that students can quickly determine what they like.
My forte is providing lessons that differ based on the students needs / wants. I make each lesson with a focal point around the previous lessons learnings. My main aim is to progress technique with a fun and relaxed environment.
Lessons are relaxed and enjoyable with the aim of helping the student achieve their personal desired level of ability. All styles and genres are taught in a progressive manner to help the student become a well rounded guitarist. All ages and abillities are welcome. Very competitive rates. Fun, progressive learning. Understanding music theory. Song writing tips.
I teach my lessons without getting too bogged down in theory, and focus more on actual playing. I will teach a basic level of theory so that students understand what they are playing, but lessons will focus more the practical side of playing as well as developing whatever the student wishes. Progression comes through learning increasingly difficult songs to expand technique and feeling in playing.
Being able to make a lesson as practical yet weaving in theoretical practices is essential, that is the aim! Whether your goal is to play the opening riff to your favourite tune, my goal is to show you HOW the music works together
I base my lessons on each individuals needs and what they wish to learn, and then help them achieve this through practice , visual guides, backing tracks, videos, using other electronic and acoustic instruments to achieve musical experience and mastery, I can help you produce your first full recording with drums and all other instruments and vocals to a proffesional level
My teaching method is to find what approach works best for you. I aim to teach you the basics quickly so that you are able to see early progress and then teach the next steps to ensure you are performing well.
My teaching method is relaxed and easygoing, basing my lessons on what you wish to learn. This could include theory, technique, or improvisation. I will teach a mixture of technical lessons and practice sessions, teaching you songs to put your learning into practice.
Tim Daley guitar school caters for all individuals from children to adults. I teach guitar based on what you want to learn through a progressive and structured system in a modern studio. The guitar school is different to others in that I am a fully qualified, degree level teacher. Most 'guitar tutors' are simply guitarists who have decided to teach.
I teach in an enthusiastic and precise manner. Lessons are structured around the interest of the student and what they want to get out of learning an instrument. Therefore every student has lessons tailored around their needs. In regards to learning new technical abilities (Such as chords or scales) I find songs that the student enjoys that use them, as to provide a fun and practical lesson.
I love to give the student the choice on what he/she wants to learn and adapt my lessons to it. I start by establishing the level and then we build on it. I think i am a patient and caring tutor.
I approach individually to every student, depending on his music taste and goal that he wants to achieve. I teach the foundation of guitar playing like chords and scales and then I teach how to develop them in an intuitive way. I'll teach all kinds of techniques like picking, sweep picking, tapping, arppegio, bending of guitar playing targeted for a Lead Guitarist.
I have been teaching Guitar for just over 25 years. Many of my students have sat their Guitar grade exams where I have achieved a %100 pass rate with them. I have had students also go on to become teachers themselves.
My teaching method and approach is always different and depends on what the student wants from our lessons; I would be happy teaching from classical guitar to electric or bass guitar.
Guitar lessons should be a fun and rewarding experience and this is what I aim for in each lesson I teach. Whether you're just starting out or wanting to improve your playing, lessons can help get you on the right track. Lessons are suitable for all ages and abilities and designed around your goals.
I like to teach music in a way that will get my students to develop their musical ear and aural perception, allowing them to more independently learn the songs that they wish to learn themselves without the need of lots of sheet music and other types of notation.
I base my lessons upon gaining basic skills and learning some melodies at first and then progress on to learning music theory however i will always split lessons up so that me and the student will go through something they're excited to learn and practice.
I have been playing guitar for 6 years and have achieved a grade 6 certificate with Rockschool. I also have a UAL extended level 3 diploma in music. I teach lessons to anyone aged 8 years and up no matter what skill level they are. I teach people with special needs and learning difficulties and work with them so they can achieve their goal of playing the guitar.
