I am a qualified Senior Staff Nurse and Teacher with a Health Studies Degree and over 13 years experience of teaching Health and Social Care, Child Care and Healthy Eating and Nutrition. I can provide one to one advice and support in any of the above areas. I have taught all ages so I am very adaptable and professional in my approach to teaching.
The teaching method used will be individualised and based on spending time understanding what your specific academic challenges and requirements are, with the aim of giving you the techniques and tools required to not only achieve your immediate academic goals, but to empower you to become, in the long term, a confident and motivated independent thinker and learner.

I use one to one if you prefer, if its a group, I like group chats, quizzes, debates to see and stimulate your thoughts. Its also nice to see the thoughts of the group. Homework is important, and my marking it will reflect your progress. It can be very exciting, and when you move on to all the subjects, you wil see how they all link together.
I use a variety of teaching styles but it would be tailored around my learner/student. I am friendly and approachable. From my experience, I like to see others grow and develop within their own careers. I teach level 2, 3 and 5 in health and social care.
