Usually, it is important for me to have a list of areas where the student would like to learn. Teaching methods will be based on the style of learning of the student, however reciprocating a lecturer is not the method of choice. It is important to build the passion for this subject through learning in a relaxed and fun environment.

I LOVE history - I am currently working on a History podcast which shows that history is the most interesting subject. However I know that a boring teacher or the pressure of work can take all the fun out of it. The bad thing is that if you're not engaged in what you're learning, you probably won't remember any of it and if you're not absorbing, you are not learning.

I believe that teaching for History at all levels is best done through example, practise and analysis, given the emphasis on technique.
