Hi! I've just finished my Oxford undergrad degree in History and am doing a Masters in Early Modern History there next year. I have past experience teaching in various Summer Camps including China and am hoping to gain more experience this Summer.
David prepares thoroughly for his tutorials and his teaching has been highly commended. He aims to adapt his teaching to fit with the student's learning patterns. David is warm and friendly in his approach, but he is prepared to challenge students when required. He marks homework effectively and promptly.
I wish to give lessons to GCSE/A-Level students in need of help, whether that be exams or additional assignments/essays. My lessons will have a thematic structure, tackling each theme with a focus on the effective use of essay plans and source analysis. Friendly and relaxed individual who wishes to build a good relationship with his students to achieve the greatest results.
Providing lessons for students in year 9, 10 or 11 undertaking either a History or French GCSE/IGCSE course. A preferable lesson plan would include the student/parent providing specific topics/techniques they would like to be covered in the lessons and then I would elaborate on this.
I am a twenty three year old with a Masters from the Courtauld Institute in History of Art. I specialise in teaching the Late Classical and Medieval periods across a multitude of geographical and religious contexts. I am able to tailor specific lesson plans to your needs across a range of subjects from Classical to contemporary History, Art and Religion.
I have an upper second class degree in History. I am willing to tutor all levels from Key Stage 1 to A-Level.
I am able to give GCSE and A-Level lessons that work through each topic or tackle specific issues in certain areas. I can help with stylistic and essay-writing skills as well as gaps in knowledge. It is really up to you.
Making learning patterns, events and processes in an way that is to encourage learning in a fun and responsive way, to help remember the facts and help understand processes. Sometimes just having a conversation, poster work, actions or role play can help increase a child's learning processes.
I am still in Full-Time Education. However, i am looking for a swift change from education into music and history tutoring as i have an extensive interest in these subjects and wish to share my love for these subjects with others. I have passed my Grade 5 so i am qualified to give piano lessons.
I approach each student with 1 to 1 lessons as I believe this is the best method for teaching as you can focus on the the tutee's strengths and weaknesses. This, I believe helps them further their skill and knowledge greatly.
My teaching method is student friendly . I teach keeping student in mind.
Currently studying at the open University, this has really opened my mind towards self discipline dedication and time management, i would love to share knowledge with anyone in any subject, because everyone has something different to offer. Everything you learn and read in life you remember, perhaps not consciously at the needed time, but some point in life you recall that information.
I love my areas of study and hope to transfer that passion to my students. I will engage you in discussions to improve our understanding and will focus on improving your examination technique and essay writing skills.
