The sessions are completely personalised to the student, depending on where they struggle and the grade that they would like to achieve.

I can provide first hand advice on how to master exams (GCSE's and A levels), and how to write the 'perfect' essay.
I want to create a comfortable environment for my students so they can learn at there own pace and not feel pressure or embarrassment of not knowing. It's all about learning and we all start at the bottom before we get to the top.

It's learning how to deconstruct and then create a narrative out of the facts of the past using logic and detective work. It's using analytical thinking and problem solving as well as having an open mind to the information in front of you.
I have found that the best approach to teaching is to know what exactly the student knows and understands. What are their strengths and weaknesses. Afterwards I can create a method of instruction dedicated to that student. I usually give lessons to other university students, particularly those in lower years than I. However I believe I could also help college students doing A-Levels.
My teaching is most suited to GCSE, A Level, and first-year degree level. Lessons are tailored specifically to the student's academic level and experience though will consistently cultivate the discipline's principal requirements of critical thought, time management, logical structuring, and depth of analysis.
I believe that good teaching and learning is based upon: 1) developing understanding of subject matter through critical thinking and enquiry 2) developing self-belief, self-confidence and self-expression 3) combining the above with independent study. - Which subject(s) do you teach?
