In my history teaching methodology I work to ensure that the students have a clear understanding of the historic themes and concepts.
I take a student centred approach to tutoring.I base each class on coaching and facilitating the student, providing them with the necessary materials to achieve.
I use power points and past papers to teach this subject and believe that understanding the topic is the key to obtaining a good result. I believe that you summarising what you will need is highly important.
My teaching fits closely to your needs. I work closely with you and constantly use appraisal in order to take learning through to the next level - basically seeing learning as a stepladder to success. In regards to History I am a lecturer at a UK University, but also I am a fully qualified teacher and am extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the subject and how to succeed within it.
I approach my topic based on the students I'm teaching, so I'm flexible and like to vary lessons to suit.
My teaching method is to allow you to do things the way you have been taught and to help where and when needed.
My teaching method uses a range of techniques, I approach the subject in units and give essays at the end
I have a structured approach of prioritising students’ syllabus; addressing each topic effectively with combination of past papers and revision techniques.
I approac each topic making sure the student has a basic understanding and then we undertake essays as written questions that I can mark and give feedback on
My approach to teaching is an aim to fascinate the student upon said subject to the point that they are happy to learn and will thus excel to a greater extent with a larger degree of personal application.
Personable approach which differs to each students needs as nobody is the same when learning. Making sure to keep to the essentials before branching off into further fields.
I provide tuition to Primary pupils preparing for school entrance examinations through to A level students preparing for their examinations. Lessons are engaging and focused on promoting progress during each session. Each session ends with a plenary exercise to demonstrate what the student has learnt and what needs to be developed.
I approach each person differently depending on how you learn best, it’s not one size fits all for learning !
I tailor your learning method to the way I teach by first discussing what your preffered approach to learning is, in order to make your learning experience enjoyable.
I can teach in many ways, everyone is different and learns in their own way and I prefer to help them in their way
My teaching will be based around talk, and specific personalised feedback. The lessons are carefully planned based on my experience as a teacher.
My teaching methodology is to combine old fashioned text book learning with modern technology, using internet and television documentaries when appropriate
Hi, I have been teaching History and Politics at GCSE and A-level for over ten years. I have also been teaching the EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) and Level 2 Project for over five years. I have been the G&T Co-ordinator at an Outstanding comprehensive school and been responsible for their Oxbridge entry programme. I am also an experienced AQA examiner.
My teaching method consists of an in depth talk on the specific topic followed by questions from the student and then questions to the student and past papers.
I provide interesting, fun, independent lessons which range from Medieval Britain, to the Slave Trade, to Civil Rights, Nazi Germany and the Cold War. I like to make lessons interesting for pupils in year 7 right up to those in year 13! Each lesson has a starter, main task and plenary to check learning and progress.
I am an archaeology student at the university of York, one of the most prestigious in the country. I am capable of teaching about almost area of history and I am happy to teach anyone of primary school age to 16 years old. I have 11 GCSEs from A*-C and I achieved A* in history.
My specialisation time period is the 19th and 20th century which perfectly fits to the GSCE and A-Levels syllabuses. In bachelors my specialisation was Russia and the Russian revolution. Also, I am focused on Germany and Turkey. I am fluent in Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian and obviously in English so I can be helpful if multilingual assistance needed.
I am a polite and kind person who loves to help people. The Civilian rights movement is my best topic.
I am an experienced online tutor and distance tutor who gives intensive feedback to written assignments, online tutorials and occasionally home visits and gallery tours.
I have recently just finished secondary school in Scotland and have enjoyed various subjects including History, English, Music and Drama.
I have a first class degree in History (BA 2014), a distinction at Masters level (Hebrew and Jewish studies, 2015). I have had three years of tutoring experience and am passionate about English and History. I teach both GCSE and A Level students in English, History, religious studies, philosophy and classical civilisation.
I have an undergraduate degree in History, with emphases in international studies and politics, and I have a Masters and Ph.D. in Religion and Theology. I have written dissertations and a PhD thesis, so I am familiar with the research process and can help students with their writing, English skills, argument construction, and managing data.
In philosophy, I focus on phenomenology, post-modernist and structuralist thought and the Eastern philosophy (focusing on Indian philosophical schools). From developing theoretical frameworks for research in political science, International Relations, sociology et cetera to core philosophy students, I find the usage of philosophy quite central.
Positive, outgoing, hard-working tutor who specializes in history, social sciences and humanities. I will help with reading over essays, reviewing assignments and studying for tests; lesson plans can be tailored for each student and made together, to ensure that students are comfortable and excited to participate.
I tend to teach by asking the students what they think and trying to go from what they know. I think it is important to try to elicit as much as possible from the student, rather than just tell them the answer. I tend to use film and card sorting activities with my students to make the lesson more memorable and/or more student-focused.
