I promote healthy, happy singing. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach Singing (Classical, operatic, jazz, pop, musical theatre, singer/songwriter, folk) and Piano (Classical, beginner blues).
I raather prefer teaching italian talking reading and writing all of this having fun than boring traditional methods because having a little fun you learn better and quickly, and the results achieved by my students give me support this my belief
I believe that the best way to learn a language is to be immersed in it as much as possible, which is why I try to speak Italian as much as possible even in my beginners lessons - unless the student doesn't feel confident enough! I would never put any pressure on you, my lessons are focused on gaining the confidence (and the vocabulary!) Necessary to speak a second language.
- PhD Student at the University of Bristol - BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry with Italian graduate from The University of Manchester - Offering Italian levels to A level, GCSE, or lower level students - Happy to tailor each and every lesson to the abilities, needs, and preferences of students :)
My teaching method is very practical, we will be speaking a lot and learning the grammar and the vocabulary both by practising the language face to face and using a reference book.
My teaching methodology starts with an overview of the level of the student. Then I will divide every single lesson in two parts: the first part will be an explanation of the topic and the second part will be an opportunity for the student to put into practice what he learned and so assimilate the concept.
I'm an enthusiastic teacher and a curious person, I'm very patient and ready to face up to every kind of doubt or difficulty. I can help if your wish is to begin to study Italian or improve your level, if you need help with grammar, speaking or any kind of skills.
I currently give Italian lessons to a variety of students - some of which include GCSE students. I take a grammar-based approach because this is the foundation to learning any language.
My approach is based on a "costant exposure" to every aspect of the language. For me,the learning process doesn't start and end with a book or notebook, but it has to involve active conversation, confrontation and even the exploring of the social media trends in italian pop culture.
I teach young children age ranging from 5 to 10 years old. Each lesson I focus on a different topic (ranging from numbers and colours to holidays and hobbies). I use interactive activities and videos in my teaching and complete the lesson with a game.
I offer Italian lessons to people of all ages and levels, I am very patient and adaptable and want to make sure that I tailor the content of my classes to suit your needs and skills in the best possible way. I believe I am competent in teaching grammar, helping improve conversational skills and teaching about Italian culture (literature, history of art and more).
I am able to tailor lessons and learning techniques to meet the needs of every student. Happy to meet with parents and students to discuss the support they need. Spent five months studying in France and five in Italy, living with native speakers. As a result of this, I gained a near-native command of the language and became aware of various regional dialects and variations of the languages.
