I am a student, I prefer to concentrate on basic phrases and then expand topic areas and incorporate new vocabulary, I am very forgiving and approachable and prefer to go through and correct mistakes on the go so it is clear wen a mistake is made and it can be corrected then and there.
I give lessons for anyone taking GCSE Italian or A level Italian, as well as any other cultural aspect of the country. Lesson structure will be varied accordingly to level and topic but there will be a consistent powerpoint provided made by myself as well as a checklist to track progress. There will be regular homework set, as to review everything done during the session.
Different and engaging teaching techniques
Seeing how my kids have learnt Italian, I believe in a communication approach. You learn by repetition and continuous use of those sentences in a given contest.
I approach each student different. It all depends on knowledge that the student already have and also what is desirable to achieve. I am patient and very willing to share my knowledge with people that want to learn not only the language but also the culture of the counties.
I always try to make my lesson stimulating and interactive. Sometimes I like to do so by learning and singing songs or watching bits of Tv series/movies. When it comes to languages, the learning approach must be fun, no matter the age of the students. There should not be pressure or stress. Mistakes are the best way to learn.
My teaching method really depends on the student and of his/her level of Italian. Even when the student is a beginner, my strategy is to always speak Italian, in order to get him/her acquainted to the language and to develop his/her listening skills from scratch. I will first try to get the student confortable with the language, then I will illustrate the grammar and its use.
For beginners: I start with basics of grammar and to catch student's curiosity a learning some simple phrase. I try to speak Italian every lesson to help students to familiarise with word's sound.
I have taught Italian, History and Philosophy for many years in the Italian State schools. In my classes I can come to the requests of both the student who wants to practice the language in a guided conversation, and the student who wants a more formal course where he/she can learn proper grammatical structures.
My teaching method is quite flexible. I adapt to my students' needs. As a linguist, I have a keen eye for grammar and syntax problems and I like to work on them. I am a writer and I love speaking and listening to people. I reckon that practicing with native speakers is the best way to learn a language.
My classes are individually designed. We set a target and we can adapt the lessons according what you want and need to learn.
My teaching methology will involve some grammar, vocabulary and writing lessons at first and, after acquiring the skills necessary, you will be involved in a dialogue with me only in Italian. We will discuss some major topics, like environment, politics, religion, and others that may be interesting for you.
my teaching methodology is simple. I think the easiest way to learn is practice as I did! when teaching a language, I only speak that language so the student can learn it faster and try to understand. I like to explain something first and then practice.
Depending on the level of lesson I need to give, I always like to leave my student to use their brain and try to find the answer or the right way to learn what we are doing at that time.
I prefer a practical approach, going from a few basics that are useful in every day life to an expanded vocabulary, to add grammar slowly and, possibly, in a way that's tailored to the individual pupil. I can teach absolute beginners or people with a basic level of knowledge.
I am a Modern Language student that gave lessons to my colleagues, I believe the best method is to firstly make a list of arguments regarding that subject and then to add info on the mental map that we created.
I prepare lessons in advance, according to the level of knowledge of student The duration of the lesson can vary, up to 2 hours, as preference.
I am an Italian native and have worked as teachers aid in schools before. I have studied in Italy and recently graduated and am studying English and Creative writing in London. I have taught children from age 6-12 and adults from 15-18 years of age.
My teaching method is casual and relaxed, I start off with the basics such as verb conjugation and pronunciation. I then work with the pupil to find out what it is that they specifically want to learn in the language and move forwards from there, such as general conversation or more specific vocabulary for different situations.
I'm a native, mother tongue, A-levels Italian Tutor. I have graduated in Rome, Italy in a scientific high-school in 2012, in the same year I moved to London when i was 19 years old. My Italian diploma is an examination intended to qualify candidates for a university bachelor's degree (baccalaureate degree).
I would take songs, quotations, parts of books or even movie screen to really get inside the language and to understand the meaning of every word and sentence.
Starting from grammar lessons to put them in practise then. Using different kind of methods of learning not only book and reading, also practising in real life.
My teaching method is simple.
- I always plan customised classes - I carefully prepare the didactic materials - I monitor the progress in order to better adapt the method to my students - I usually vary the activities making use of different tools (e.g. audios, videos, readings, games) depending on the personality of the students (temperament, education, expectations, etc.), their weaknesses and the aims of teaching.
My teaching methods are not strict or rigid, I am very flexible and I think each person learns and understands in a different way, therefore specialized teaching is necessary for each one of us. Whether you would like your children to learn a new language or are a retired lady yearning to learn something new and stimulating, I will be happy to help.
I'm an enthusiastic teacher and a curious person, I'm very patient and ready to face up to every kind of doubt or difficulty. I can help if your wish is to begin to study Italian or improve your level, if you need help with grammar, speaking or any kind of skills.

The way I teach really depends on the age of the student, its knowledge, and the goal of our lessons. I taught 2 years old children as well as 60+ years old adults. Some of them wanted to learn the basics of a language, some needed it for school or to pass a certification exam, and some just wanted to improve their accent.
My teaching method is the TEFL method of total immersion in the target language, which means we will only speak Italian during the lesson. This is so that you are exposed to a real-life environment. Don't worry if you don't understand everything - This is also part of the plan! I will start with a lesson to assess your level of Italian.
I like to tailor my teaching around the student. I am very perceptive of a student's strong and weak spots and I like to foster an environment of trust and self-worth. My methodology consists of introducing a concept or core topic, and to build on the interest the student has of it.
