I am a Cambridge University graduate and a fully-qualified teacher. I have previously taught in both Secondary and Primary schools as well as private Language Schools. I plan effective and engaging lessons that are tailor-made to meet the needs of my students. I also have a large bank of my own tried and tested lesson resources which I enjoy devising in my free time.
My lessons are tailored to the students' specific needs. During the first class, you'll tell me why you want to study Italian and what you hope to accomplish, and I'll assess your level of proficiency in the language. In the other classes, we'll use a book and other materials that I'll provide to learn Italian in a fun and effective way.
I base my classes on topics of conversation and include in each grammar and sentence building elements that are repeated in order to help the student memorize. Depending on the level of the student lessons are planned differently. For a student with a stronger native language grammar level, lessons are more based on grammar topics.
My name is Elisa, I am Italian and moved to London 3 years ago to work in Fashion. I have a Master Degree in Foreign Languages for International Communication and a Diploma in Fashion. I offer personalised programs that include grammar, vocabulary, conversation, writing, culture for all levels with optional focus on Italian for the Fashion Industry.
We can decide together how to organize classes according to your requests! But generally my classes are very relaxed, lot of work but no stress!
Studying a foreign language is a way to think differently and to put ourselves in someone else's shoes. This is why my lessons are highly focused on Italian culture and society, providing the student with lively and real life examples. I do not ignore the importance of grammar, but I teach it in an interactive and engaging way. I am confident with 1.
I teach any grade and level, based on the national curriculum or on your professional requirements, if you study Italian as part of your job (opera singer, chef, musician, etc.). I also love to teach children of second generation Italians abroad.
My lessons are different for each person of course but usually I try to match learn and fun in order to be more productive and very efficiency for a fast and deep learning.

Ciao a tutti! My name is Raffaele. I am a native Italian speaker with a Degree in Ancient languages and Linguistics. I’m from Cagliari (Sardinia), but I also lived in Tuscany and Veneto. Here in Liverpool I work as language assistant of Italian at the University.
I base my classes on what and how my students feel like would like to learn
I base my classes on conversation. I teach the basics of Italian grammars as the conversation goes on. I will then fix the information learnt with writing and reading lessons. I encourage my students to carry a notebook that we will fill in together as a vocabulary as we go on, with both words and expressions used in the everyday life.
The staple of my teaching is to create bespoke lessons to make you achieve your goal effectively and quickly. I have proven experience in managing students’ different abilities and in breaking down complex concepts into easier chunks. Indeed, I’m convinced that, if properly approached and taught, every student is able to unlock their true potential.
During a lesson (individual or in a group) I prefer to create a mix of different techniques, in a balance of speaking, listening, reading and writing. For example, we can watch a picture or discuss a topic and then focus on grammar and rules of the language. We can read an article or a dialogue and then start a conversation, giving more attention to the vocabulary and fluency.
Thanks to my experience I am actually able now to offer Italian lessons at all levels. I am reliable, easy going, organised and I try to make sessions interesting and constructive in order to let my students reach their potential as easily as possible.
Kind and approachable tutor, passionate about teaching. My native language is Italian which makes me the perfect tutor to help you with pronunciation, speaking, reading, grammar and writing. Lessons will be tailored to you, your goals and your current ability.

I am a native qualified Italian teacher with a degree in Italian, English and French from Rome University. - How much do you charge? £35 per hour. I would charge £56 for 2 hours.
In a nut shell, I am educated to PhD level. I am an intellectual historian. I also hold a master's degree in Translation and another in Environmental Studies. I have a PGCE in MFL and a BA in Italian Studies. I have taught around the world and as such, I have been exposed to different and differing people from all walks of life.
I welcome anyone from beginners to upper-intermediate levels, for one-off support or long term. - I am open to different learning styles and very much support the USE OF DIFFERENT MEDIUMS. I would also encourage the use of online resources where applicable.
My teaching method is friendly but very effective, you won't feel the stress of learning but you will be satisfied with the results! the lesson structure depends of the personal needs but usually is half exercises and homework and half conversation
With a communicative and student-centered style, I like to tailor my lessons based on my students’ needs and interests, giving a complete overview on all aspects of learning: pronunciation, listening, speaking, reading and writing. I strongly believe that there is no such thing as a “definitive method” to learn a language, and I am sure that anyone can find their own way to do it.
Putting the student at the centre. When it comes to teaching no one size fits all. Rather, it is the duty of the teacher to understand the student, and tailor his methods accordingly. Even more so with private lessons, where the needs and requirements of the learner vary, one must take that extra step, and listen to his tutee in order to provide the knowledge in a way that is easily digestible.
I try to create a tailor-made cours for the student, because everyone has different needs. I prefer teaching the grammar by listening some dialogues or by reading stories. If the lessons is on Skype, I use Google doc, because it allows the student to see in real time what I'm writing and vice-versa.
I think Communication is what helps to learn a language, so I would like to create a class with manny people that like to talk about general things, lifestyle, how was your day, introductions in Italian in order to learn the basics.
I am open to giving lessons to all ages. I will tailor lessons to your needs, so I will need to know your level of Italian and what your goals are. If your goal is to simply practice talking, as you are of an intermediate to advanced level, I am also able to create conversation-stimulating sessions.
I am energetic, clean, tidy, respectful with a big smile all the time! I can either make the learning hours fun and playful or simply more serious.
My teaching method is based on listening to more and more audios, videos, music in Italian. I structure my lessons by videos power points where you can learn about the language and also about the origin of the language. I use also interactive materials for spellings and pronunciations. In addiction, I use apps that can help.
People want to be able to communicate, so emphasis is on having a conversation, and being able to ask for things and understand the answers. We use a easy-to-use book, and cover some grammar, but only what is needed to be able to manage in simple Italian. I lived for 17 years in Italy, so I can also talk about cultural differences, and give advice about travelling, staying and living in Italy.
